Overall good experience

Pros: Great location, good space, and friendly staff

Cons: Bed was horrible with a huge dip in the middle and springs were noticeable. Also this unit is quite a way from the elevator so lots of up and down stairs.

The handy location worked for us, adjacent beach & deli, & nearby grocery store, but no front desk

Pros: We could walk to the beach next door; the king size bed, walking distance to a grocery store and nice courtyard facing balcony, plus the poolside hot tub.

Cons: A few items in the suite were closer to Mexican 2 star - pillows, cutlery. tiny kitchen. We must admit our stay was negatively impacted by poor weather (rain, wind - Kona Low)

Cons: No air-conditioner. Only ceiling fans and it was hot in the house.

Cons: I never received the key code until after I arrived to the property and found I needed one. The patio door screen kept falling off, the rugs in the apartment were in need of replacement. The Master Bath shower faucet leaked and the toilet ran continually. Additionally, the master bathroom had an ant problem. The refrigerator froze the food kept in the fridge and only one burner worked on the stove. After numerous calls to Castle/ChasenRainbows, we were not contact by them until we had already been there 6 days and were leaving in 3. Had I not stayed at the Paki Maui in prior years, I would never return; however, I will return but never go through Castle/ChasenRainbows again.

Pros: The unit was clean and well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. Nice location and free parking

Cons: The 1st hour was frustrating trying to get the correct door code, with no onsite help we had to rely on phone numbers, once we got the right number to call everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful. Apparently the unit has just changed Property Managers so the first 30 minutes the friendly tech guy was also getting frustrated but tried his best to help us until he was informed they no longer handled the unit. he gave us the correct company and number

Ho hum

Pros: Lovely view. Ample parking, what with covid.

Cons: #306 not particularly clean, stained carpets, dirty tub, broken chair. Not much in the way of kitchen supplies, nor even a broom. I left 7 messages with manager and did not get a call back, so I gave up. Tiny pool.

Overall, we'd go back in a heart beat.

Pros: Everything was great. View and grounds fantastic. Easy access to amenities. Close to everything on the West side..

Cons: Coffee maker was useless. A better option would have been a cheap "Mr. Coffee" style brewer rather than the single cup motel style. Saving grace was a French press that was put to good use.

Location was great, staff were really nice and the facility was really clean.

Pros: I loved that the pool was overlooking the ocean. We spent a lot of time at both!

Cons: Our original reservation was for an ocean front room. The owners cancelled on us and we were very disappointed. Luckily there was another room available for garden view. We were all super excited to stay at an ocean front one, but were glad we could get a room at all.

Maui was fun , but, staying in a place where you could not get a good nights sleep was the worst22

Pros: Decent location. Didnt feel like we were too far from anything and good amount of food options nearby. The view of the garden was pretty.

Cons: Bed is not a queen size and the sofa bed is more comfortable slept on while still a sofa so dont expect to sleep more than one person on it. One of the fans in the bedroom didnt work. Theres a water leak where water runs out of the cabinet above the sink when the people upstairs shower. Also, dont use the dishes in that cabinet unless you wash them first as they get wet and its unknown whether the water is fresh or from the drain. Never got a response from management about the leak. Left vm on main phone, called the after hours # and no one ever picked up, and left a message on Booking stating I had left a vm and tried the after hours # and that there was a leak. Gate code to the pool was not given and there was no hope of getting it since they wouldnt even return a call about a water leak. And just FYI - none of the curtains are black out so the lights from the walkway shine right in and theres no way to secure them closed so when its windy they blow open with a direct line of sight to the bed. And unfortunately, you have to have the window opened for air flow since theres no AC and one of the fans in the room doesnt work. Theres also just enough pillows for the bed and not the sleeper sofa.

Pros: It was a decent room, but definitely not worth what I paid for. The location is ok, it's within walking distance of the food trucks (when they open in the evening) and a number of other shops. Parking was easy, it's right on a beach but it's not a very swimmable beach.

Cons: There's no front desk staff. The building has multiple owners for individual units, and their system for getting you checked in doesn't work very well. Didn't receive the necessary email for getting my unit number or the code for it, so it took from 10am to 4pm to actually get that information. Theres no ac, and the fans were noisy.
