Pros: Staff especially Saibh on reception and Nadine who looked after us on breakfast are a credit to the hotel. Lovely staff all very friendly and locals,Great value and a lovely breakfast

Cons: Nothing not to like amazing value when you compare it to Dublin well worth exploring Kells and parking is free.

Pros: I booked 2 rooms for the same price - one with double bed one with 2 single beds - the double room was really good and we got the Kennedy Suite with whirlpool which was really nice, the huge bed with a lo of pillows was super comfortable only 10 minute walk from Trim castle

Cons: From the outside the hotel looked quiet nice, but it really got long in the tooth, a lot of things really got old, some lamps showed spider nets etc. The second room we booked was with 2 single beds - although for the same price as our second room (double room) it was much much smaller and not comfortable at all. The heating didn't work at first, except toilet paper there were no other toiletries like shampoo/shower gel etc., there were holes and untidy fissures in the wall (in the small room as well as in the Kennedy suite in the bathroom. The breakfast was also kept very simple - just som cereals and toast and a small menu of irish breakfast or just scrambled eggs or bacon/sausages - no fuit or vegetables or other bread. As the last stay of our one week trip to Ireland we extra spend some more money but were disappointed with the rooms as well as the food. All the other hotels and B&Bs we had had so much more to offer and were at a favourable price. Too bad.

Cons: Cobwebs in the room shower was terrible curtains too small for the windows too much light getting in around them .. definitely would not recommend this hotel breakfast was not great either definitely did not get value for money totally disappointed

Cons: Room cold, very out dated, mattress dreadful, water in bath and shower slow to heat up, shower/bath control broken, mould on ceiling in bathroom, mould over one of the windows, no view, looking directly at roof, literally in touching distance. Very overpowering smell of carpet cleaning products in hallway from room to stairs/lift, no freshness in air quality
