Cons: It has falsely claimed to have parking as one would need to park in a separate parking facility recommended but isnt really a service provided by the hotel. Check in was horrible as you need to contact the supposed receptionist apparently hes out serving other guest but it we never saw him at the reception area ever except for the time weve contacted him and that actually took us a long time Falsely claiming for being soundproof even footsteps at the hallway could be heard. Unfortunately at the time of our stay theyve been catering events downstairs it did not allow any good sleep for us for we could hear their conversations down from the dining area to the 3rd floor Its cold , not really proper heating except for providing an extra thick blanket hidden at the wardrobe with questionable cleanliness Not to mention how grossly the towels are placed in the bathroom Toiletries provided does not include toothbrush and toothpaste Its dark , its kinda damp and doesnt smell nice We checked out really early as we could not just stand it anymore I did not bother taking pics of the place as we just want to forget about it

Cons: The room was very small and quite dark and cold. There was no hot water to start, but the staff did get it working. Breakfast not very good.

If I ever go back to Granada, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Pros: My favorite part about the hotel is the location. Absolutely perfect! The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is very quaint and quite lovely.

Cons: 1) The bathroom light made this whirring noise every time we turned it on. 2) The hair dryer would get overheated and would shut off intermittently. In fairness, I have a lot of hair to blow dry. 3) The staff was sparse, we rarely saw anther person 4) There was no ring tone on the phone in the room and so we couldn't call anyone 5) There was a key pad to lock the bedroom door, which worked well, but we had to punch in the code in order to close the door when we left.

For a one nighter was ok but a bit like staying in a monastery

Pros: Convenient and reasonably price

Cons: Arrived to find because its a Monday was all closed. Fortunately a phone call brought the manager to arrive in 10 mins

A gem of a hotel

Pros: We stayed here before covid and loved it, it feels like you are living in a slice of history. The rooms are around a beautiful covered patio which has the bar/restaurant. The beds have to be the best we have slept in while staying in Andalucia. It is just off Plaza Nueva so it is central but very quiet. The room was dark but that's fine, we were there to sleep. Good bathroom with brand toiletries from Rituals and good towels. You get a code to open the room and hotel door, or you can download an app. We just used the code, it was easy.

Cons: You have to go to a sister hotel across the plaza for breakfast. It is cheap at only 5, but by the time we left the hotel and walked across the plaza we went somewhere else that had outdoor seating and views instead.

Casa Palacio Pilar del Toro is really a restaurant with some attached rooms needing attention

Pros: Loved the location of this hotel in the center of everything including restaurants, shops, and city square. Walkable to Alhambra. Traditional decor in the restaurant, and stairways. The restaurant has a fountain, interesting paintings, and an elegant setting.

Cons: This is really a restaurant with some rooms attached, but no real reception area especially hard to check in if the restaurant is closed. Rooms are tired and need work. Watch your billing as they don't always get it right. Breakfast service starts late (0830) and only available in another hotel a block away. If I return to Granada I would not stay at this hotel.

Pros: The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious Near to every touristic attraction with few minutes walk

Cons: No litter bins in the room, had to bring plastic bag to collect trash till the room service collected them next day

Excellent location, near the Alhambra, giving a wonderful feel of Granada's culture.
