Pros: Nice room full size fridge, cooktop, coffee maker. Large room. Comfortable bed. Pickup by park and jet quick and driver was pleasant. Staff nice.

Pros: Easy to catch the shuttle to and from the airport, and our room was awesome. Comfortable bed, clean and quiet. Staff were incredibly kind, and they sell food on site which is super helpful when traveling.

Cons: The pull out sofa bed was brutal to sleep on. Imagine putting a comforter over metal bars and trying to sleep on it. I slept on it for 3 nights waking up often throughout the night. The last night I attempted to fold it up and just sleep on the couch. Unfortunately the couch is narrow and not very comfortable either. Unless you have a chiropractor on hand I would not recommend anyone trying to sleep on "the demon couch" as we called it.

Pros: Room was very nice and equipped. Had no problems getting extras that I needed.

Cons: I absolutely did not like that we had to pay for overnight parking. We are guest and you have a parking lot so we shouldn’t be charged for that. Especially staying a week.

Cons: I made a booking for our daughter for the sonesta simply suites in Chicago and prepaid in full. She is 20 years of age traveling alone in the US due to a college semester there. We booked the sonesta due to its proximity to O 'Hare airport conscious her flight got in late. When she arrived she was refused her stay as she did not have a PHYSICAL cc which the hotel could take a pre-auth off. She had TWO cc cards available on her phone both with sufficient funds but was told this would not suffice as their machines did not tap!! I would add at this point that she was quite visibily ill having been sick for a number of days prior to travel. She called me at 1am obviously distressed. I asked to speak with the front desk and whilst the agent I spoke with said she sympathised withus her manager had twice denied her permission to check her in. I also offered to give my cc details to cover incidentals which was denied as an option Quite clearly there was NOTHING open in the hotel at 1am that my daughter could have charged up to her room even if she wanted to and when I said that to the clerk she said she could not comment.......in the end we had to uber our daughter to South Bend Indiana which is a 2hr drive and she got their at 4am. I have 20+ years hotel GM experience myself and have never seen a hotel be so intransient to a young, lone female traveler arriving at 1am in the morning. I would further say that in the booking terms it simply says a cc must be presented upon check-in. Nowhere does it say a PHYSICAL cc which is the basis on whe was refused her stay. The "Manager" in question (and I see the managers frequently mentioned in the reviews below) should be ashamed of her decision. I will NEVER book another Sonesta property.
