The most disappointing 5 star experience ever

Pros: The location is great and the beach and beach bar are lovely.

Cons: Unfortunately so many issues: - The room was listed as having an outdoor spa bath and a bathtub - there was no bath tub. - The swimming pool is cleaned from 12pm to 1:30pm daily, right when guests want to use it, and the sun beds are solid wood with only towels provided so really uncomfortable. - On arrival we had to say which breakfast serving shift we wanted. We chose the 2nd one ending at 11am. Everyday, when we arrived at 10:30am we were reminded on a daily basis how we had to finish by 11. When I tried to order eggs from the eggs station at 10:40am I was told finished and offered previously cooked fried eggs which were cold. - Vegetarian options were very poor in the Thai restaurant and lobby bar. We booked dinner in the Thai restaurant and were offered the lobby bar options instead (which was either rice, chips, or salad only) - really not 5 star. - We were given bills without requesting them in the lobby bar twice in one evening which made us feel very unwelcome. - There was a typhoon while we stayed there and we understand how difficult this is for the staff to manage, but we were told nothing about what to expect or reassured as to our safety. We only found out a typhoon was expected from overhearing another guests conversation. Overall, we didnt feel welcomed or cared for and at a cost of over 10,000 TWD per night did not receive a 5 star experience at all. For this cost, it really is not worth the money and I suggest possible guests choose elsewhere. It is fair to say this is the most disappointing hotel experience we have ever had when considering the price. We have given this feedback to the hotel and they have responded with an apology, but we dont feel this is sufficient given how much money we paid. For this reason we are leaving this review on Booking.com

Pros: What I like is the bathroom is big, the bedroom is very comfy and the pool is very pretty, I also like how you put so many plants to make it more natual.

Cons: I don't like how the typhoon is keep on getting in our way, we can't swim, and go to the beach.

I stay two days in cesar hotel to through my birthday n hotel is so nice they prepare a small cake for me.

Pros: breakfast variety was good. but overall the price for this hotel is overrated, facilities for kids are very limited, provided the swimming pool was empty should have added slides or some splash for kids.

Cons: location abit far from the train station but at least shuttle service provided but only available once a day. limited facilities in the hotel especially we have wasted 1 day staying in the hotel due to the bad weather.
