Cons: Restaurant needed more servers. Long waits for everything.

Great place for quick sleep-n-go

Pros: Room was fresh and clean. No smoke odor; a non-smoking building. Everything worked. The room seemed to have been refreshed, recently. Newer paint and carpet.

Cons: Two things could have been better: 1) registration is across street, which was not made clear in advance. This caused waste of time since map app took us to sleeping building, but we had to get back in car and drive across street to register, then back again to load into room, and 2) sleeping building seemed a bit run down; concrete sloughing-off steps and walks, paint chipping. Breakfast served in building across street.

Pros: The price was pretty good for what it was. Would have been nice to have breakfast but....dinner across the street at the hotel was very good.

Cons: We have stayed here quite a few times on our way back from Arizona. Each year it gets worse. Doesn't seem like any money is being put into the place. The carpet floor was not very clean. There aren't very many choices in this small town. Next year we will probably stay at the hotel/casino across the street (still Cactus Pete's).

Pros: Nobody was in the hotel with us.

Cons: The shower made a god awful squeal, and always a chirping noise in hallway. And the airflow in the room was from one extreme to another

Cons: We stayed at the horseshoe, that’s across the street from the actual resort, there for, if we needed something, we’d have to go there to get it, didn’t need anything so no big deal, just pay attention to what you’re booking if this is a problem.

Cons: Check in was a terrible experience. We didn’t realize we were placed in a building across the street from check-in, this was not made clear. Very confusing. At the entrance- exit to the building the flooring had frost on it and it was extremely slippery

Pros: travel distance. price was reasonable. Friendly staff and quick waitresses on the casino floor. Maybe $5 tables in the afternoons could be made available. All the dealers I interacted with were great.

Cons: The Horseshu side desperately needs updating. No channel list in the room so had to create my own only to realize the channels provided were not a good selection and no movie channels available. More food options during the day would be nice. A grab and go or premade sandwiches and snacks. No wifi at the horseshu. More tables and less slots. lots of waiting for a seat at crowded tables while slots sat vacant.
