Enjoyable three night stay as part of our French road trip with exceptionally helpful staff.

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful to us. Just before arrival we had a burst tyre on our hired car ( we were on a road trip of the Cathar Trail and the Pyrenees- Orientales) . The reception staff came to our rescue ( when the hire car company didn't) and arranged for a local garage to come and check the car and then provide and fit new tyres. We would have been really stuck without the help of the reception staff and can't thank them enough. If there was a means of us putting them forward for a staff service award we would like to do so. The staff then organised a taxi to take us to Colliure for lunch ( this was to be a highlight of our road trip and of course no car) and also booked a restaurant with a view for us. They also recommended a popular restaurant in the old town of Canet-en- Rousillon which we went to and which was excellent ( we were also given a map and several recommendations for local restaurants which was very helpful) We were very impressed with the service. Additionally.... Large selection of items for breakfast and freshly prepared. Staff kept the area very clean. Very good shower which was easy to control temperature ( this was not always the case on our road trip). Excellent view from the balcony to the beach and Mediterranean.

Cons: Only one suggestion.The curtains were very flimsy and let in the early morning light as well as the street lights when dark. And also didn't protect from the heat. Perhaps black-out lined curtains?

Wonderful hotel, staff and location. The English are not catered for.

Pros: We didnt have breakfast. The location was wonderful, but sadly felt that the restaurants didnt cater for the English, which is quite disappointing.

Nice two day stay in a comfortable and clean hotel, close to all amentites.

Pros: We had a nice sea view. The best part was the proximity to the beach and to the cafes etc.

Cons: Struggling to think of anything. If it could have had a pool, then that would have made it perfect, but its absence is not a criticism.
