    Not so Relaxing!

    Pros: The food was tasty. Took some beautiful pictures of the snow covered surroundings.
    Cons: The power went out at about 9:30 pm. We had no use of any facilities including no hot water. We were not offered extra blankets or flashlights. On our check out we were not offered a free breakfast, lunch or dinner, no discount on our stay or a welcome back for anotber stay on tbe house. I understand the power outage wasn't their fault but felt some kind of compensation could have been offered since we had looked forward to a fun weekend away in their spa setting. Even there swimming pool was out of commission.

    Pros: Supper on Friday was excellent
    Cons: Didn’t have power for the entire weekend. Spa, pool and hot tub were closed. No heat in our room.

    It was fine but we...

    Pros: We liked that we got a full nights sleep without our kids. The bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was fine. We don’t have to make it.
    Cons: The facilities are very dated. We had cracks in the ceiling, dried putty in the bathtub, a floor tile was wiggly (wiggled when you walked over it), and no soap in the bathroom. There were also about 10+ flys inside the window trying to escape when we woke up in the morning. I hadn’t noticed them the night before, so no clue where they came from. We hadn’t brought our fly swatter with us. The whole spa building smells like chlorine because the pool is just below the rooms. The curtains only cover half the windows, so expect to wake up when the sun does. The pool has so lounger chairs, only upright sitting chairs. And the hot tub was so small that we felt uncomfortable when 2 other people were in it.

    Pros: Room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. The location of the inn is very beautiful and was great for going for a hike by the river. Very relaxing weekend. Restaurant food was delicous and the live music was great!
    Cons: View from the room wasn't the best. The spa tub was not very large.

    We enjoyed our stay and...

    Pros: We loved the view of the river from our room, also the pool, hot tub & sauna. The spa was great too.
    Cons: We were disappointed there was no entertainment on the Saturday night.
