This hotel has few issues to fix

Pros: Central location with few cafes downstairs as they seem to be the only ones working on Sunday morning in town and breakfast was not included.

Cons: Hotel advice on parking was out of the box of its sort - you can park on any blue lines on the neighbouring streets everything was just busy on those few blue lines. We parked on 10 mins walk from the hotel. Another problem was unloading the luggage as the car cannot approach the entrance to the hotel - had to stay at yellow lines with risk of car evacuation by police for some time so hotel doesnt offer any option for parking beyond this nice advise this is not good Besides i thought that they should not save costs on toilet paper - the one I saw there was one of the cheapest possible I mean if you pay about 80 EUR per night, at least you should not bother about that kind of things

The top place to stay in Talavera

Pros: Very good hotel in the center of the city. Has amazing view and everything one might need for a pleasant stay.

Cons: The room was not properly cleaned. Bed linen and surfaces were somewhat dusty.

Nice hotel close to downtown

Pros: Very nice staff, very clean and silent, and quiet, well surrounded by cafeterias, bars, pubs, restaurants, etc. It is located 10-minute waking from the historical downtown. Very spacious and neat rooms. It is possible to park in the streets around the hotel, but there is no free parking, you have to pay via a parkmeter.

Cons: If you dont book their parking, then it is pretty hard to find a free spot nearby. On the other hand, there is no even courtesy parking in front of the hotel reception to drop-off passengers and luggage. Instead, there is only a taxi station.

Cons: The bedroom had a fire alarm which was on however the fire alarm was covered up in masking tape it looked to be, so was not functional even when turned on as the input for any detection of smoke was blocked up dont know how it would fair up in regulations we did report it to front desk also

Pros: Good cleaning, amenities, fridge in the room was the best, access 24h, private park available.

Cons: Bed was confortable but pillows were not. Each of us had 2 pillows, one smaller supper hard, and another one bigger but super thin ad soft. Good hotel overall but super expensive. For that price, park should be included. Shower has a clear glass to the room...

Cons: The shower has a window...towards the bed. There's no real way to cover the window so it's a bit weird when sharing with a friend...

Pros: The location of this hotel is perfect as it's very central and also has the coach/bus station next door. The room was fine for my one night stay and the staff were very polite and looked after my bag free of charge so I didn't have to lug it around with me all day whilst waiting for my train to return to Madrid.

Stayed there one night and would stay again, particularly now that I unriddled the way to the garage

Pros: Location was OK with fast walking access to the main shopping centre of the town and to the heritage sites we aimed to visit. There was a big El Corte Ingls multi-floor shop with a very good supermarket literally next door. Breakfast would be very good for a three-star hotel but not so much for a 4-star. Yet, to be fair, it was very good for the price (which was the price one could expect in a 3-star hotel). Price of the room was quite fair and (very important for me) there was a garage in the building with a private hotel parking area, AND our bath room had a bath tub! Garage was large and parking places were much larger than usually.

Cons: Well... the worse thing I remember was I found too late that I had only one usable pillow in the bed and not a very good one at that. I need two for a good sleep and there was none in the closet, nor did I feel like asking for another one to reception at 2 a.m. in the morning... Going to stuff that may interest others more: the hotel decoration is rather plain, reminding me of 3-star hotels in Denmark and Sweden. In fact, the hotel looks more like a very good 2-star or an average 3-star than a 4-star, as claimed. But don't take that as a handicap- nothing is missing to be a four star, it's just that the place does not feel like it and the plain cafeteria joined with the small lobby did nothing to help. If you are driving, the door into the hotel is not by the street- the hotel is part of a mall and we failed even to see its door when we drove past it in the cab lane. You cannot stop in front too, you have to stop for a minute in a side street to go find the door and ask about the garage. They sent me instructions but I was not smart enough to find my way without help. The garage is a funny bit: the street has a lower level for cars and an upper level mostly for cabs. The walking door to the hotel is at the upper-level but to drive into the garage you have to start turning into the lower level and then go immediately into a tunnel at the right side, leading to several parking areas including that of El Corte Ingls and that of the hotel. You have to follow the signs (some at eye level and at least one at the ceiling) and then turn rather sharp right just before the access to the Corte Ingls parking (you may have to do a bit of maneuvering if you are driving a long vehicle). Bad thing is that anyone who enters the multi-use garage, either walking or driving, has access to the hotel parking area and to its lift!!
