Pros: Pool and breakfast were highlights. Breakfast has a great variety of foods. Room was clean. Location very good. Free mini bar had variety of soft drink and local beet, tea coffee and chips and a cocoanut snack. I would definitely stay again.

Cons: I purposely booked room with a view at a higher price than no view so I could treat myself to a view. The room they gave me was 2nd floor on road intersection across from building site. The room was very small. So I asked for a larger quieter room with a proper view. They then placed me in a quieter larger room on 8th floor which was much better. Room with a view seems to mean room with a window. They could only accomdate 1 hour extra of late check out without a significant charge. It would have breen nice to have been able to have am extra couple of hours but 1 hour extra was ok. With the late check out we checked out at 1pm. I paid $127 AUD for the room and booked a few weeks in advance. I found out that the same room was avaible for approx. $80 AUD if booked on day or day before. It was low season when I was there so it would have been better just to book on arrival or day before. The showers are good. Hot water. Design of the shower area means that water can leak out of shower into toilet/sink area. The showers were nice and clean.

Pros: Staff were very friendly, especially Ken whom escorted us to our room and made us feel very welcomed. Room was very clean and location was great with lots of restaurants, places to get a massage and cafe around. Breakfast had a nice variety and eggs cooked to your liking.

Cons: The hotel is situated on a corner, where there is lots of younger people that congregate at night on folding chairs and meet with their friends, whilst drinking fruit teas and coffee. This can get quite busy and noisy, so might not suit people if they want a quite relaxing location. This did not bother us, however may be loud for others.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Good variety of food.

Cons: I was asked to pay for the room on arrival even though I had already paid. I booked through booking.com and hotel took payment on day of booking. On arrival they said I hadnt paid. I had to get online and show the transaction in from my bank account to prove I had paid. They also said my friends had not paid for their room when they had paid already for it. Just make sure that you keep record of payment on you when you check in.

Some of the staff were friendly, some NOT . The food was disappointing.

Cons: Young adults congregate on the corner each night drinking coffee and playing loud music until midnight and doing blockies on their scooters. Very noisy!

Pleasant

Pros: Clean rooms. Staff in rooftop bar and front desk excellent, very pleasant and helpful. Location is easy access to zoo/museum and market areas by walking.

Cons: Breakfast was meh. Baking was stale first 2 days and fruit selection is limited. Carpeted rooms are dated kept slippers on. Carpets stained and worn. Otherwise clean rooms. Smoking in pool area is a deterrent for use by nonsmokers.

Pros: I enjoyed the ease of booking, the friendly staff, the great breakfast offering, the relatively quiet location. Staff were always willing to help.

Cons: Unfortunately the abundance of Indians who seem to lack any travel etiquette.

Satisfactory Stay ! Could have been better

Pros: Room size is small. They charged me for early check-in despite requesting at the time of booking. Also for vegetarians there were limited options for breakfast though the serving team was very cooperative.

Cons: Cleanliness to be improved in the reception area. Staff to be more considerate to guests request and accomodate.

Pros: Great Value for money hotel in a convinient location to explore the city day & night. The bed was comfortable and the towels/sheets feel like brand new! Very Good variety & quality in breakfast. The staff is helpful.

The customer service by the front desk staff is outstanding.

Pros: The customer service provided by the front desk staff is excellent. (1) We had two stays a week apart at this property. The staff, who checked us in for our second stay, could remember us and she immediately passed us a powerbank that we left at the hotel after our first stay. Her name is Chelsea or Julie. (2) One of the staff was busy with the checking in when we checked out after our second stay and booked a Grab rider. However the Grab driver who didn't want to take us to the airport and he couldn't communicate with us in English. I had to ask the staff, a young man on duty on Sat 11 Feb morning, to quickly help me to talk to the Grab driver that I would need him to cancel the ride. The staff came to assist us. I cannot ask for a better location at this price point. It is close to the Saigon River riverside and I could go to jog there easily though it is a challenge to cross the road with the heavy traffic of cars and motorcycles. They even upgraded us to better rooms for our second stay.

Cons: (1) The "Grand Deluxe Double River & Town View" room is not what I expected. The view of the river side was blocked by a building. One could only see a little bit of the river from the sides. I wouldn't think it is worthwhile to pay a premium for such a view. However the view of the riverside from the rooftop swimming pool is good. Please see attached photo. (1) It looked like I am charged twice for a safety deposit of 1,000,000 VND for my second stay which was completed yesterday. One of the two charges was reversed. However one remained. It should only be one safety deposit. At the time of this writing, I am still pursuing the matter with property messages through booking.com.
