    Sociable and comfortable stay!

    Pros: The vibe, aesthetic, the social aspects and activities organised. And the staff were super welcoming and friendly!
    Cons: Not everything was always super clean. Upstairs (4th floor) in the corridor was always a mess. Perhaps they need some bins? Bit expensive!

    A convenient last minute life...

    Pros: I had to book it on the day and got a good deal for it on through booking.com. I liked the location, it was easy to walk to the commercial center and to Southbank. The curtains in the dorms allowed for good privacy, the location was reasonably clean and the kitchen was kept clean constantly. The yoga class was awesome! And the bar attached had good energy. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were quick and easy.
    Cons: No laundry machines! Had to walk 20 minutes to the nearest one carrying all of my stuff, and then waited there for an hour until it was ready. Took a lot of time out of my trip. I was also so cold during the night, I hoped they offered blankets. Maintenance wise some things were falling apart but oh well.

    Lovely staff and great place...

    Pros: Enjoyed my stay here so much that I kept extending my stay :) the dorms had a good size, beds are comfy with curtains, tooons of power outlet’s throughout the whole property and really good WiFi which made it ideal for working. They have a social hour every evening which was great to meet people. And the staff here is suuuper lovely! They’re so open and helpful, especially Melda & Adriana who gave me lots of great tips and helped with some issues. Big thanks to the team, I’ll definitely come back!

    Comfortable room, ideal for the...

    Pros: Well located hotel with comfortable rooms, albeit quite small. Staff on arrival and check out were very friendly and helpful. Very convenient to the Roma St Train Station. This hotel offers a happy hour each night which is a great idea and is ideally suited to backpackers and the younger crowd.
    Cons: The rooms were quite small and in comparison with other hotels in the area it was quite expensive. After checking out I discovered that I had left my toiletry bag in the bathroom. I contacted Selina customer service for assistance and they forwarded a query to the Brisbane Selina, I was disappointed that I did not receive any reply from them either to advise they had found my toiletries or to let me know they hadn’t.

    Pros: The location is just right! In front of Roma street station makes it absolutely convenient. The rooms are kept clean and the beds are comfortable.
    Cons: The kitchen is so small, I mean, it’s a Selinas, they need to work on that.

    Worst and most expensive hostel...

    Cons: Absurd price for such bad facilities. 50 US dollars, for 31 square meter room without luggage space and completely disorganised. I really feel I burned a 50 dollar bill by staying here. Avoid.
