Founded in 1988, Austria Trend Hotels is a hotel brand that operates in Austria, Slovenia, and Slovakia. It’s the largest Austrian hotel group with a total of 27 hotel branches and 9,600 beds from the brand in Central and Eastern Europe. Most of these are four-star city hotels. Austria Trend Hotels is a subsidiary of the Verkehrsbüro Group, which is the largest and oldest Austrian tourism group with a history that spans over a century. 

The company’s rebranding in 2013 led to the development of three different hotel categories. Not only does this allow guests to choose the exact type of accommodations they prefer, but these categories also ensure that each guest get everything they want and need from their Austria Trend Experience. SMART hotels are the company’s budget accommodations, while hotels in the COMFORT category are equipped with more amenities as well as rooms and services for events. Meanwhile, the PREMIUM hotels are the four- and five-star luxury accommodations that provide elegant ambiance, exclusive kitchen and wine cellar offerings, and concierge and bellboy service.

Austria Trend Hotels also offers spaces for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE), as well as services for the planning and staging of these events.
