Pros: I thought this was a good location, not too central but its easy enough to walk to the centre or get the tram. The staff were friendly and the room was basic but its exactly what we needed, cant complain.

Pros: De Pjip is one of the best areas in AMS to me so this location was superb. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.

Pros: The room was perfect. I could make a coffee and sit on the balcony in the morning which i was thrilled about. The beds were so comfortable and the location was fantastic. We didn't want to take public transport so walking around the city and back to our hotel was so lovely and romantic. This hotel made our trip. Super thrilled.

Ok Hotel for a short stay

Pros: The hotel looks nicely decorated and maintained. The staff is nice and helpful. Well located, with several public transportation options. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was correct, for Amsterdam standards.

Cons: The room shows it's needing some renovation. Walls and furniture have scratches and stains. There's no much soundproofing, I was able to heard other guests conversations. The room's door didn't super safe to me. The bed and pillows were super uncomfortable. I didn't get a good sleep.

I couldnt sleep at all because they didnt make a disclaimer that room 111 has no modern window even if by the street.

Pros: Frankly theres nothing good except perhaps the workers. They were nice

Cons: 1. I got stuck in the lift and the light went out. Im now having a panic attacks since then. The lift wouldnt open until they pried it open by force. 2. The advertised room photos are deceptive. If you have a bathroom and toilet together in standard house thats literally the size of the room. 3. The windows are not reinforced or insulated. I couldnt sleep until 4:00am because the hotel is located on both tram lines, cars and buses. You heard everything even with ear bud its like sleeping outside. Simple solution would have been to invest in insulated windows. I have been in similar hotels with similar locations to road and rail lines but the windows were insulated and you couldnt hear anything. 4. I paid 141 euros for this miserable experience while it would have been worth more to sleep at the bench in the airport. Its ripoff. Worth of the room is perhaps 38 euros at most and not more. I will ask for refund

Hotel breakfast is exceptional

Pros: Best hotel breakfast I have had for hotels in this price range: eggs, bacon, pancakes, good bread, fruit, cakes, cheeses, croissant, cold cuts they charge $17 for it at the hotel (too steep in my opinion because nice places are around but great if its included in a reasonable hotel price). Good location. Room is nice for Amsterdam standards. Free coffee for guests even if you dont get breakfast.

Blood in the bed

Pros: I like the balcony in room.

Cons: Rooms weren't clean after check in was delayed by an hour and half for them to be cleaned. The bed on one room had someone else's blood stains & bathroom sink had food backing up from drain. When I complimented with photos to reception an apology was barley given. Will not be back
