Pros: Everything was top quality from the rooms, the bar areas and the restaurants. Incredible views from the 17th floor bar. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice enough hotel but we felt a little let down compared to other higher end hotels we have stayed

Pros: Good Ponts - We received a fabulous welcome at reception. - Our room was very nice with a fabulous view, if not a little restricted by rooms either side protruding out restricting the view - Breakfast was excellent - Location very, very good

Cons: Not so good points - Seems that they need more staff at the bar as there was a considerable wait especailly when a barrell needed changing. - Hit and miss whether we were given peanuts and whetheror not we had drinks brought over to us. - Did not feel 5* treament. - The sun loungers were packed in tightly in small area - Had to remove used ash trays - Had to keep shutting the doors to the WCs at the bar on the balcony as not the best things to see when relaxing - Strong smell of sewers at times, even in the building - Whilst using the shower, the water temperature fluctuated from very hot to very cold several times - We could see a person changing in their room. Needless to say we looked away to respect their privacy. It was the room protruding out to the right of us. Not sure if we will stay at the Gran on our next visit to Arriciffe

overall we had a very comfortable stay and appreciated the complementary bottle of prosecco.

Cons: Was informed that long trousers had to be worn in the restaurant for evening meal but then only to find out the evening meal was served buffet style and smart shorts and t shirt was the dress code.

I would never go back to this hotel.

Pros: Location was good. Fairly clean hotel. The entrance is modern and eye catching.

Cons: Many things: The name of the hotel has the word spa in it but you have to pay for it. The gym is spacious but the equipment is not enough and weights are missing. The stuff does not care about complaints and suggestions. They pretend to listen to you. In front of my narrow angle sea view room there was a glass roof that was extremely dirty and full of cigarette buds. I asked the hotel to clean it the first day. On the 4th day it was still dirty. In the roof bar I waited for a service for 20 minutes. Not even a menu was offered. I could go on but that should be enough.

Cons: The gym was lacking in equipment. However, this enabled us to go outside and run along the beach whichs is right next to the hotel (worthwhile)
