    Pros: We LOVED everything about the Anchorage Motel. The view from our room across the pool to the beautiful sea beyond was breathtaking. Everything was within walking distance and the room was very clean. Above all the Staff were absolutely wonderful, very welcoming and helpful.

    Very impressed with the facility, but those other issues need to be delt with.

    Pros: Very good daily service of room.
    Cons: Not in any way the fault of the Anchorage, but something needs to be done about the new public area across the road. Arrogant inconsiderate parties being held late at night there for 2 of the 5 nights we stayed. Loud music, yelling and screaming at 2 am is not good to be kept awake by. The owners need to address this with the Council. Its a great area for the town but needs to be off limits at night. We live in the flood zone at Eskdale and needed this break, these mongrels ruined that for us.
