Nice small hotel with great staff , lovely gardens leading to a sandy beach. Very relaxed

Pros: The rooms were well appointed, staff were very friendly and helpful, food was good, with view from the restaurant , location on the beach .

Cons: The beach although nice, had coral and rook leading into the sea which was difficult unless you wore shoes.

Pros: The lovely staff - professional and really helpful. The interior design, the fascinating artefacts, the views, the swimming pool. The kayaks are for free, so it's great to make use of them to go further out if the sea is calm. This allowed you to observe the massive rocks under the water and some corals around them. This was to the right of the property.

Cons: The beach at low time, which can get smelly in the hot sun. Very shallow water for at least 30-40 metres and a lot of fine weeds and sand banks. It is so low, that you have to walk to get to a point where you can actually 'swim'. Then, you have to watch out for urchin and loads of starfish, which can easily be destroyed.

Best start of our adventure

Pros: During our stay, everything was even better than expected. From the first jaw dropping view of the remarkable resort to the great restaurant to the checkout, nothing negative can be found. We were already kindly welcomed at the airport and driven to the resort. The staff was super friendly and complied with every request. The food was great. And the view from the balcony was a dream. The entire facility is beautifully and lovingly designed down to the last detail. We were able to rent a scooter directly on site to explore the entire island. Everything worked professionally and without the slightest problems. We are already looking forward to coming back sometime. 10 stars. Thank you for an exceptional stay!

Pros: From the accommodation staff and facilities everything was just perfect. Must do is a massage that they offer. Same with the countyside tour. Beach was clean and you can do snorkeling. Pros: The Amarela resort was incredible. Even before we arrived, the hotel staff was super responsive and helpful with our last minute travel plans and accommodating our pickup. The Amarela property is breathtaking. You will not find a single inch of the property that is without a carefully hand picked detail. Theres a great deal of dcore, beautiful flowers, and art that really makes the place very charming. The property layout with the path to a private beach is wonderful and with a very beautiful view from the dining area. The pool is immaculate. I particularly enjoyed the art gallery and upstairs part of the lobby. The facilities are great, everything was VERY clean and our room included everything including complementary water bottles and beach towels. The restaurant is also great, the food was delicious and the breakfast in particular was fantastic. The staff was always super friendly and helpful with anything we needed to arrange. Lastly, I did some great snorkelling in the ocean directly in front of the property. The private beach area is very nice.

Pros: The best artifact objects are preserved in this property. The paysage and decor are well preserved.

Cons: Following the global pandemic, it is visible that the hotel has struggled maintaining and preserving the hidden jewel. I didnt appreciate the way room rate has changed since the time I made my booking. The hotel said the pricing is initiated by Booking.com while Booking.com said the hotel is solely responsible for their hotel rate. How do I know who is right

Beautiful hotel in quiet neighborhood of Panglao

Pros: Beautiful hotel with nice, authentic decoration in a splendid garden. Its great to have a pool and a private beach. The art gallery is also very nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Cons: Our room was rather small, but the bathroom was very comfortable and its was great to have a balcony.

We cant wait to be back at Amarela Resort! Next time, well stay for at least a week!

Pros: I LOVE Amarela Resort! Its a perfect resort for a family getaway. They welcome you with a nice glass of the best calamansi juice youll ever have. I loved their breakfast buffet, which was included in our accommodation. I also enjoyed the family activities and amenities that they offered, such as kayaking, access to the pool, table tennis, beach volleyball, and a library with family board games. The restaurant on-site was fabulous! The staff was friendly and the food was consistently delish!

Cons: We were greeted by a roach when we entered our room one night, which freaked us out. Lol But, oh well. It quickly ran out the door. Lol Maybe it was just a one-off because otherwise, the room was spotless! Also, depending on whos manning the beach, sometimes theyll offer to line the beach lounge chairs with padding if they notice you sitting on one of them, but one morning, I noticed that they immediately assisted a couple of foreigners who just got there while no one assisted me, though I had been sitting there for a while. Maybe some of them prioritize foreigners? Not sure. Not to worry, the manong who offered us the free kayak activity made up for the missed opportunity. He was so helpful, accommodating, and just kind! Too bad I didnt get his name. I would even come back just to see that friendly manong again! I always remember kind gestures like that.

The hotel is very charming and has great art. I highly recommend this hotel ! Note that it is not a modern hotel. It is a place with soul and history. I hope to come back one day.

I'd say this is the best place for a couple or young family to stay on Bohol

Pros: We had a magic experience, private beach, snorkeling is underrated (paddle or swim out to the reef drop, it is very good), rooms are smallish but great, away from tourist bustle, however it is all of the staff that will surprise you - they are so genuine, helpful and caring. Special shout out to Sander.

Cons: rooms are smallish, but great, recommend rooms ending in 03 and 04

Pros: * Enjoyed exclusive access to a private beach, pool, and table tennis table during the stay * Immersef in the unique ambiance of our well-designed bedrooms adorned with exquisite local wooden arts. * Indulgef in a delicious breakfast buffet that caters to all tastes, featuring a wide selection of local delicacies, fresh fruits, and other delectable options

Cons: * The hotel is located a bit further from the main beach * Although the overall cleanliness of the hotel was satisfactory, I noticed some areas in my bedroom (Mainly the bed) that could have been cleaner * The air conditioner in my room was a bit bothersome and didn't function as effectively as I had hoped * The TV provided in the room was dim and not up to the standard I was expecting. It would have been nice to have a better-quality television
