A value-for-money hotel with good...

Pros: Very, very helpful front desk personnel and very amiable and courteous chamber maids and handymen. Clearly, the training of hotel staff was effective and redounded to the benefit of the hotel and its guests. Available free hotel parking was most valued by me because I rented a car. Complimentary breakfast was another plus.

Cons: My room was hot through my stay. As such, I was a bit uncomfortable. Fortunately, I was out of the room for most of the time. An Adria-hotel-branded shuttle service does not operate between the area's two major airports and the hotel. A NYC yellow cab taxi charged me $91 from JFK to the hotel at 2:45 in the morning. That was a major fleecing. Breakfast could be varied daily if only because guests come from international destinations, Caribbean, Latin American, Asia, Oceania, Middle East. An airport-type scale is not positioned in a corner in the lobby close to the elevator for customers to weigh their suitcases prior to leaving the hotel and heading to the airport, and/or in lieu of no airport-type scale in the lobby, there are no bathroom scales in the rooms. If these were available they would ease hotel guests' anxiety prior to them heading to the airport where they may be beholden to pay exorbitant overweight charges to the airlines. Beds are not made up daily and rooms are not cleaned daily by chamber maids.

Cons: Single men always seemed to be walking the hall when my daughter and I were coming in or going out. A breeze kept the door rattling all night and the pillows sucked! I actually rolled up a towel to get some leverage under my head to sleep! No blankets

Cons: Everything. Theres no shampoo or conditioner, there is no maid service. There is no comforter for the bed, just a thin thin sheet and a static brown itchy thing. Room was extremely tiny. Hallways had garbage in them all the time. Elevator took forever.

Cons: There is only one elevator and it took forever to get from room to lobby to garage, etc. Sound of building systems too loud to get to sleep. Person started cleaning room 10 AM and took used towels - did not get fresh towels till 2 PM, and I missed an appointment because I couldn't shower early enough. Pros: Easy location and parking available.

Cons: The roach was an uninvited guest so I left him on the towel I used to kill him for the staff to find…along with the dead bug on the floor and the hair on the other table where my cups and ice bucket were. The wallpaper is disgusting.

My stay was excellent.

Pros: The breakfast was buffet style that provided a variety. The location of the hotel was excellent as it was located in a safe area and convenient for public transportation by bus and train. I took the train to visit Manhatten three times..

Cons: The bathroom clogged a few times. However, maintenance was efficient.
