Route Inn Hotels’ first ever hotel Ueda Royal Hotel opened for business in 1985. It operated under that name until it was changed to Route Inn in 1996. It first established its Tokyo head office in Nishigotanda, Shinagawa-ku in 2000 until it finally finds it home in Oi, Shinagawa-ku six years after. In 2008. The hotel chain acquired Ueda Maruko Grandvrio Golf Club and SugadairaKogen Snow Resort in 2008. On the same year, Route Inn Hotels achieved 200 hotels nationwide.
