About Hotel Hokke Club Tokyo (and vicinity)
Hotel Hokke Club is a Japanese hotel chain that was formed in 1960s as a business hotel. A pioneer in that line, Hotel Hokke Club set the standards for business hospitality, which was later followed by its new competitors. Still, no other brand has ever made it at least an inch closer to Hokke Club’s operations. The hotel actually started as a quiet place for worshippers and tourists whose low price was the main asset for attracting more and guests. They are also notable for their concept of one group one room, which favored many group travelers. Still, the opening of Tokyo and Osaka branches as business hotels in the 1960s became the highlight of the brand.
In Osaka, they set up business corners where guests could find typewriters, calculators, copy machine, and other business essentials for corporate people. They also provided comfortable services to people on business trips tailored right for their schedule and busy nature. Hokke wanted to maintain the beauty of tourism even if business travelers are checking in more just for accommodation purposes while in town for work matters. This concept also started attracting families as they have noticed how Hokke offers services not all hotels in Japan can pull off.
