Pros: Breakfast was well presented - Location was close access To walking trails etc. quiet Neighbourhood

Cons: The 2 single Beds in our room were so cracking/ noisy with every move. We are slim trim NOT overweight people . The box springs need replacing. The long dust tendrils hanging off the lights above both beds! Gross! A previous guests T-shirt was left behind the bed covered in dust and bugs! Hello-Cleaning staff! No room for even one suitcase in the room. Just a backpack maybe on the tub chair. For the Love of God - Take out The tub chair and the mini fridge. There is a fridge downstairs for guest use anyway. Then you can move around more than a foot in any one direction in that broom closet of a guest room.

Enjoyable but would probably choose somewhere closer to the centre next time.

Pros: It was a home from home stay - comfortable lounge, access to kitchen to make drinks, complimentary cakes and biscuits, tasty breakfasts. Access to the garden.

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: Beds were kind of squeaky and Netflix didnt work in either room we had.

Contact owner (if you've paid for an ensuite) in order to guarantee your room assignment.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, home was very clean.

Cons: We reserved an ensuite room several months in advance but were placed in a very small room with a (private), locked bathroom across the hall. When we contacted the owner (via phone) upon arrival, she apologized but was unable to move us due to the other rooms being occupied. We realized later that all of the other rooms were ensuite, only ours had a bathroom across the hall. She said this had occurred due to errors with Expedia and Booking.com, however, we question this as the owner is solely responsible to assign rooms. We believe there should have been some compensation other than "sorry". To avoid this happening to you, call first and make sure your assigned room is what you paid for, before arrival.

Can't recommend our room to other tourists.

Pros: The owner is pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness of the room and breakfast area. Decent selection of cereals and juice available. Good location in town.

Cons: Our room was the first one on the left when you enter the building. The room is VERY cramped with no space to put suitcases or to open them. The bed had serious loud squeaks whenever you moved. The major aggravation was the whirlpool type tub. You needed to be an acrobat to get into and out of this tub. The side of the tub faces a large window with an outside view to the neighbor. You have to climb up steps and into the tub to pull a shower curtain over the window. There are no grab bars. This tub setup is dangerous for tourists over 65 years old.

A lovely spot with friendly staff

Pros: It was close to everything we wanted to do. Fay was lovely, making us good breakfasts and suggesting places to eat etc. it was nice to e able to make a cup of tea, do some laundry and sit in the sunny kitchen. Everything was spotless and clean. Parking was right in front.

Cons: Our room #1 was very cramped ( too much furniture for a small room) with a strange bathroom, shower set up. The mattress was squeaky and uncomfortable.
