Pros: Very nice hostel, great location. You can make use of the swimming pool and gym which is nice. Clean bathrooms, did not have to wait a long time.

Cons: Our room was very hot

Pros: One member of the staff was very helpful when we encountered a serious problem with our room (cockroaches). He immediately found us another room. The swimming pool and gym were great. And of course being right next to Central Park in the spring was fantastic.

Cons: The cockroaches. The situation in our first room was intolerable. When we were changed to a second room, we no longer had problems with cockroaches. The dirty sheets that weren't properly washed. The terrible quality of the pillows. The floor and the windows were filthy. The prison atmosphere in the corridors. Given all of these factors, I will probably choose to pay more next time I go to NYC rather than deal with issues like these.

Cons: Basically, I hated everything. At first, they gave me a room with broken window and it was freezing cold and when I reported it to front desk, they said that will give me the last room available although I noticed other guests checking in after me and getting rooms at the same floor as me. The new room they gave me, the TV wasn’t working and there was loud noises from other rooms late night and in the corridors. And it seems everyone that was staying in the same floor have access to the “semi-private” bathroom. The stress and the discomfort with all unpleasant situation does not worth it at all.

Cons: Booked the trip for 5 nights. First 2 nights tv didn't work and staff won't do anything to either fix it or help us. Bathroom's for bunk beds were a joke. Dirty and bo space for that many rooms The other nights were decent. Room was okay (double bed). Bathroom's exceeded my expectations. They CHARGE US for leaving our luggage for only 2 hours. 4 usd each

Pros: Absolutely fab location. Room was clean and spacious, and 24/7 check in was super helpful. Bathroom facilities were clean and not too busy.

Pros: Location was amazing & not too expensive for a private room for 2.

Cons: It is a bit odd, bathrooms were interesting as the showers have curtains that are basically see-through. We only stayed one night and changed hostels (that was planned) and I’m glad we did. Wanted to leave our luggage for the day but it took a while to get someone to explain to us so we gave up and left. The room was alright I guess ? Just a little bug that was chilling there & one pillow per bed that is the thinnest I’ve ever seen.

Pros: Because of the freezing rain spent half the days indoors. Only 6 channels tv and poor reception.

Cons: Some staff members were unfriendly. Cold was coming in through a crack next to the air con. First 3 nights no heat in room while outside temperature was 38 degrees. Will not book at this place again.
