Pros: Comfortable tidy room

Meets needs.

Pros: Excellent location. Room is well equipped. Quiet although in the heart of the city. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities. Feels safe for solo female traveller. Great eating options very close by. Supermarket etc all in easy walking distance.

Cons: Shower is dated with a curtain and low water pressure. Found the pillows high and hard but that’s a personal preference. A choice would be nice.

Great hotel in central Wellington,...

Pros: Very central location, has joined family rooms available, on site parking available (limited), breakfast, room service, wifi….etc…etc….

Cons: Paying for parking. Where else are we meant to park our vehicle during our stay? Can that be noted down on your website to avoid hidden surprises.

Pros: My room seemed to be too close the laundry. The noise of machines was horrible. As good as the hotel is this experience means I will never stay here again.

Cons: Don’t put people in rooms near the laundry when it is working. When they point it out relocate them don’t just explain and do nothing

Pros: The staff were nice and helpful. The foyer was nice, in contrast the room was incredibly disappointing.

Cons: There was hair on the bathroom floor upon arrival and torn paper bits on the carpet. Ee paid for 3 guests but received 2 towels. The room smelt musty and needed airing.

Pros: Friendly staff on arrival, convenient walkable location for meeting at Wharewaka.

Cons: Costly miscommunication about rates. Only 2 nights were available to book online through bkg dot com, After arrival I asked to extend my stay by an additional 4 or 5 nights. The staff let me know they would try. By the next afternoon they let me know they found something for me but I'd have to change rooms (which I was fine with). I asked what the rate would be and was told it would be the same as what I'd booked through booking dot com. This was $160 a night and I was happy with that. They then let me know on the day that I could stay on in the same room which was convenient. On check out I was charged $270 to $300 per night which came as a shock. They told me it was whatever the (variable) rate listed on booking site was each night (the nights that were showing as sold out) If I had known this in advance I would have searched for better rates or opted for the backpackers next door which was offering a private room at competitive rate on the same dates.
