Wonderful

Pros: Location

Cons: Was disappointed that the hotel restaurant added an additional 4% charge to the bill. When we asked the waitress what the charge was for, she didn't know and said it was something that the hotel added. It would have been nice to know before we ordered.

Dirty, unfriendly staff. Good view and thats all youre gonna get.

Pros: I like that is is historical and in a great location.

Cons: It was so dirty. I would never stay there again. We had to clean the bathroom ourselves to be able to even use it, it smelt like urine. Hair and dust everywhere. Im convinced the housekeepers dont actually clean the rooms. The PM staff were really nice, but the morning staff, Im assuming management, were rude and unfriendly. We got double charged from the hotel and booking.com and we seemed annoyed that we were even asking for clarification (like we werent valid for being concerned over an additional $220 being taken from our account)

Cons: The beds were rock hard It was like sleeping on the floor The noise from the street was terrible you could hear everybody talking outside I checked a few times as it seemed like a window was open it was so bad

There are better hotels in downtown Stillwater.

Pros: Beautiful fireplace in the room.

Cons: The paint job was terrible and made the room look dingy. The bed was a queen, but the mattress was a double. They charge more for a private hot tub, but it was old and looked sketchy. Since its an old building, we could hear our neighbors slamming doors and walking through the hallway at all hours. Definitely not worth the price.

Desperately in need of a refresh

Pros: Location is good, staff friendly.

Cons: Room was old, wallpaper was peeling, tub was dirty, bed was uncomfortable, hasn't been remodeled in over 20 years and shows it's age in a bad way. The hotel was quiet but the duct work was pretty noisey The spa tub was gross and had staining from years of use without being properly maintained and cleaned. The artwork on the walls looked.like something teenager picked out at Walmart 20 years ago. The curtains were falling down and mismatched. I expected something better for the price.

The hotel wasnt busy at all oddly empty. We most likely wont stay there again

Pros: Very clean and festive for Christmas. Organized room and plenty of towels.

Cons: The staff seemed bothered by us and seemed like extra effort to check us out. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice, as well as the housekeeper. The other desk staff seemed irritated.

Pros: Location. Lobby is beautifulbut one doesnt generally hang out by the front desk.

Cons: Hot tub didnt work. Lamp was wobbly and kept flickering. Carpet felt grimy. Little things like trim paint touch ups would help make it feel more cared for. Having to move rooms after unpacked and coming in late to relax in the room only to discover the hot tub didnt work was unfortunate. Would have been nice to have been compensated in some way for inconvenience or moving rooms in late evening.

Pros: The location was perfect - close to restaurants and shops.

Cons: It was marketed as historic but appears as simply old. The furnishings are quite out dated and beyond their use date. Our two rooms were dark and uninviting - random furniture placed in odd places - lamps without working bulbs - pictures on walls were hung crooked - no attention to detail or guest comfort at all. We were a party of seven without proper number of towels, glasses, cups or linens in our rooms. We were charged for parking and not disclosed until checking out.
