Pleasant

Pros: This hotel is well located for the main museums and El Retiro Park, in a vibrant area, and the staff was friendly and articulate. The room was very clean, with generous space, a private outdoor patio, seating area and very comfortable beds.

Cons: The hallways were pretty dated and worn. And the hotel is in a few buildings that they connected making a confusing warren of two elevators and long hallways to get to the room.

Pros: The hotel was in a great location and really clean and quirky. The staff were really friendly and helpful. One person in our party is a wheelchair user and the hotel was fine to navigate in the wheelchair. The breakfast was really lovely and huge range of choice was available.

Cons: The only slight negative (and its minor) is that there is no full length mirror in the bedrooms and the lighting is quite dark.

Perfect place to stay in Madrid.

Pros: The staff was very welcoming and helped us get around madrid by providing Excellent recommendations., The room was quite and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.The location was pefect for walking and full great places to eat. The terrance was lovely for a cocktail. Thank you for a great stay

Lovely stylish hotel, great location and breakfast

Pros: Great location! The hotel is right in the heart of the city with attractions, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Really delicious breakfast with tonnes of options to suit every diet and taste. Lovely clean room, very comfortable bed. Not noisy, despite its central location.

Cons: The shower - it was a shower head on a hose fitted over a bath tub. The grip for the shower head was split, which impacted on the ability to direct the jet of water. It wasn't in-keeping with the quality of the bathroom and room, and required some attention. Sadly we didn't have the best experience in the restaurant. We had a drink in the bar before dinner one evening, it was raining so we decided to eat at the hotel too. A member of staff brought over some side plates in preparation for our meal. We caught their attention to order, but they (rather brusquely) asked us to wait a couple of minutes whilst they completed something else. This was acceptable but, rather than coming back to us once they'd completed that task, they ignored us and started serving other tables, sort out dirty plates/ glasses, chat to staff behind the bar etc even though they knew we were waiting. We hadn't had any contact with this staff member before this point so there was no reason for them to treat us this way. It was probably busier than they'd expected it to be because of the weather but that's no reason to be rude to customers. We got up and left.
