Pros: My recent holiday to Manchester turned into a nightmare when I was unjustly kicked out of Village Hotel Manchester Ashton and left to sleep on the streets. It was a traumatizing experience that I never could have anticipated. The ordeal began when I was enjoying some relaxation time at the hotel's swimming area. Without warning, two security guards approached me, accusing me of using my phone – a prohibited activity in the pool area. Before I could even respond, they forcibly escorted me out, ignoring my attempts to explain or defend myself. Feeling bewildered and unfairly treated, I resisted their aggressive handling. As a human being, I found it unacceptable to be manhandled in such a manner, especially during what was supposed to be a peaceful holiday. To my shock and dismay, the security guards then fabricated a false accusation, claiming that I had attempted to punch them. This blatant lie further escalated the situation and tarnished my reputation without any basis in truth. Determined to clear my name and expose the unjust treatment I had endured, I requested to see the CCTV footage of the incident. However, the security guards deceitfully insisted that there were no cameras in the pool area, denying me the opportunity to prove my innocence. Despite the hotel's initial mishandling of the situation, they swiftly recognized their error. To confirm that I was not the problem, the hotel quickly provided a refund for their disgusting behavior of their security and manager. However, the abuse of power did not end there. The security guards proceeded to my room without my permission and packed my belongings into my luggage. Even if they had the right to do so, they should have taken me with them to ensure all my belongings were accounted for. Instead, they went to the room after kicking me out, arranging my belongings without my supervision. In the process, I discovered that not all of my property was packed.

When I requested CCTV footage to clear my name, they claimed none existed, but the hotel eventually refunded me, acknowledging their error. However, the abuse continued as security entered my room without permission, packing my belongings without supervision. Upon inspection, I discovered my cash and sunglasses missing. The manager's dismissive response to my complaint compounded the injustice. Despite my lawyer's advice to secure CCTV evidence, the hotel has shown no accountability or professionalism in addressing the situation. This experience has left me deeply disillusioned and traumatized, and I hope to bring attention to the misconduct I endured. No one should suffer such mistreatment, especially on what was meant to be a joyous holiday.

Pros: Room was a nice layout, big tv and a nice bathroom. Lovely breakfast.

Cons: No glasses or drinking water available in the room. Couldn’t work out how to make the water hotter in the shower.

Pros: Close to Ashton under Lyne. Close to places to eat.

Cons: Very expensive for a room only. Rooms need deep clean.

A friendly young staff with...

Pros: It was central for our needs and good metro link to the city. Bed immaculate and comfortable. Young friendly staff.

Cons: Slightly concerned by the two, visible, security staff on the door who later ejected two young men from the leisure facility. Room was booked for two but only enough towels for one (One hand & one bath towel) When I asked at reception I was given two sports towels!

Pros: Central to the trams.

Cons: To crowded in the bar area. So had to eat in a restaurant outside the hotel. The breakfast was awful. The food was cold. Nothing was filled up until you asked for it.

Pros: Everything was super. The staff the facilities but the breakfast wasn't all great. Sausage under cooked scrambled eggs was brown but the coffee toast and cereal was spot on. It didn't effect our stay, I just wouldn't get the breakfast again. But other than that it was a fantastic stay. Thank all.

Pros: Nice size room, modern bathroom.

Cons: Hard lumpy beds and pillows, no usb ports, very busy, with loud music bar area, only saw a receptionist when we arrived, I went down several times and no one there. Worst thing for us was the cleaner went into our room as we were there more than one night, normally the bed is made, well here the duvet was just thrown over, like how a child would make a bed. the bed legs stuck out and I caught my toe. Wasn’t worth the money we paid.
