    Wonderful

    Pleasant find

    Pros: The entire property was beautiful - I mainly saw it at night, but the pool and the courtyard were lovely to walk around, and the room itself had an old style feel but was very comfortable. I went through some back streets to reach the property, and was surprised how safe it felt.
    Cons: The location is a bit out of the way, and was a fair bit of a walk (25min) from the nearest train station. There is a bus but I wasn't sure how to get a ticket. It would be easier to reach with a car or taxi. I went to Pompeii in the morning and worked out it would have been just as easy to come from Salerno as from Scafati.

    Pros: Exceptional views of the mountains. Very friendly and helpful staff even with the language barrier. Amazing food in local restaurant and pub. A big thankyou to Anna, Melania, and Mario for an unforgettable stay.

    Small problems with location were ironed out very quickly and helpfully my Mario, Thank You My Friend.

    Pros: Mario on reception, an asset to the hotel, very helpful, and a lovely guy. Comfortable beds, powerful shower, beautiful views, a clean and well maintained pool and pool area, well kept and peaceful garden, and excellent cleanliness.
    Cons: The location. A little remote, difficult to find using Apple Maps and booking.com location map. What Three Words would be useful.

    Pros: The setting was very nice. It was nice to have a pool. We enjoyed the food in the hotel restaurant which was within walking distance. Raffaele, the pizza chef, was excellent. On the whole the staff were pleasant.
    Cons: Breakfast was limited. It would have been nice to have tea/ coffee facilities in the room. In the corner of the parking area, we found a dog in a cage. He was severely neglected! It really upset uscto see such a beautiful dog in this way. We fed him twice daily whilst there and topped up his water. We spoke to the staff and owner about this! Who promised to take better care of the dog. It appeared that when we checked again he had food, water and his cage had been cleaned which we were pleased about. We were assured that this would continue, and as we visit Italy frequently, we will check regularly!

    Pros: Nice garden. Decent room. Good restaurant can be found in 3 mins walking. The area of the hotel is not attractive, but inside the garden is marvelous. Free parking. View from the room was really nice from our room
    Cons: Breakfast: if you are not early, the selection is apalling, not refilled. I thought that in Italy I can not find bad coffee. Well I did, here Certain staff members should learn how make it. Had issues with electricity in the room took them 2 days to fix it?! The weekend staff was not speaking English, communication was hard No hot water in the shower 2 times during our stay. Forgot to tell us that there are evens in the garden. This can be quite noisy.

    Unfortunately the fish smell was intolerable. Couldnt wait to leave.

    Pros: The building from the outside is beautiful Nice Pool Lovely large balcony
    Cons: Not close to Scafati Centre ( 15 min walk) or train station (25 min walk) Fishy smell coming from bathroom in room ( couldnt bear the smell so couldnt face showering in morning of departure so glad it was just one night stay Scatter cushions stained No pillows on beds ( found on floor in storage cupboard) Due to smell couldnt face breakfast. Howling and barking dog in property right next to hotel all night. No one on duty to tell as they finished at midnight.

    Pros: The staff were very attentive and kind. They spoke English very well. The hotel looks lovely and is typical Italian in style.
    Cons: The room looked tired and could do with decoration. No hand soap in the bathroom.
