Pros: The complementary breakfast buffet is five stars...much better than any chain hotels offerings out there

Cons: The in-room HVAC controls need to be updated to a digital thermostat There was no happy medium between stifling hot and freezing cold with the 1980s circa slide controls that are there in the room.

Pros: Beautiful campus setting. Great breakfast. Very attentive staff.

Cons: I know that they are about to do a major renovation. It will probably include the a/c. The room was cooled well, but was very humid. Still it was a very good value at the price.

Pros: Location is very convenient to Darden and UVA Law Schools.

Cons: Parking is very inconvenient, 300-400 yard walk. Worse in rain and at night. Elevators also not very convenient to room.

Pros: Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Cons: The breakfast ws not available until one hour after the stated time. This entailed a delay in starting my day and considerable extra walking to locate the ste.

Pros: Pleasant staff, comfortable bed. Great breakfast buffet included.

Cons: Location was not in walking distance of main campus.

Pros: It's quiet, private and great front desk staff.

Cons: They did start cleaning our room before we checked out.

Pros: The location was great for what we needed. We were able to walk to John Paul Stadium with ease and driving to town was a breeze.

Cons: Bright light flashing right outside my window and no blackout blinds, walking an extended way outside from car to get to room, Saturday breakfast ended at 930 am and the hours were not made available.

Pros: It was a clean room hotel and surroundings. The breakfast was awesome and was pretty quiet. Close to the center city, just a short drive.

Cons: The room was a little small plain and had just one little window.

Pros: close to campus but not main campus.. had to uber everywhere. room accomodations were okay.. fridge and microwave and extremely friendly staff.

Pros: The location and room cleanliness were off the charts, as was breakfast. The restaurant manage'r hospitality was superlative.

Cons: There was confusion regarding whether or not breakfast was included, which was frustrating and embarrassing. The inn manager ended up resolving the issue, but only after I firmly insisted. He was not proactive with his customer service or hospitality.

Cons: Hotel failed to have cots available despite request in advance

Pros: Room was very nicely done. Clean. spacious

Cons: I was caught by surprise by the whole layout. Parking is way over in one direction, dining way over in another. I should have realized that a hotel on a college campus will not be laid out like a traditional hotel. I did not.

Pros: Excellent breakfast in another building on campus.

Cons: The rooms were very outdated. Public areas were shoddy. A real disappointment, having recently stayed at UNC Rizzo Center at Chapel Hill. The Inn at Darden reflects poorly on UVA. The rest of the campus was beautiful.
