Among the partner hotels included in the Tulip Hotel Group brand is the Barriere Hotels, owner and manager of 18 four-star hotel rated hotels as well as five-star properties in France. Another partner, Magnuson Hotels, operates over 1000 hotels located in the United States and the UK.

Prior to these partnerships, Golden Tulip was acquired by Starwood Capital Group, allied with the famous Louvre Hotels in 2009. Golden Tulip was later on owned by Jin Jiang International in 2015.
