Pros: The hotel is small but very cosy. The room was a little small but the bed very comfy. The service was excellent. I would love to come back.

Excellent bed and breakfast in Fort William.

Pros: The rooms were very well appointed with all the little extras to enhance your stay. There was a nice selection of single malt for a nightcap when returning from dinner. The breakfast was fantastic.

Cons: The parking was a bit crowded and there was a temporary issue with lighting outside. To be honest, we loved the place.

Great stay in Skye if you have a car to get around

Pros: Very cute and clean place. We liked that while they only served breakfast, they had on offer a cheese board option in case you got hungry at night! The room provided slippers which was a nice addition compared to other places we stayed in Scotland. Rooms were small but comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was excellent!

Cons: Just a few small things - location is a little remote but worked for us as we had a car and allowed us a quick entry and exit from skye, the bathtub May be difficult for elderly guests to use, would have liked charging points in room for international travelers.

Pros: Wow an absolutely stunning location , the whole house and sister hotel are fabulous so well set up to pamper you .. The staff were also amazing..so very helpful, nothing was too much trouble

Cons: Poor house cleaning, given a room with spiders (big ones!) and you'd expect this not to be the case after first checkin cleaning. The room was old and there were some hotel staff that started to chat around 6 am in front of the room which wasn't really pleasent

Pros: The staff were absolutely incredible and the most lovely people. The amenities were very impressive. We were asked for request before arrival for food preferences which we received, and I requested a room with a bath if possible which we were very grateful for. the complimentary taxi to and from a neighbouring restaurant was above and beyond what we expected and definitely enhanced the experience of being thoroughly well looked after. local gins and whiskeys available in the bar downstairs was a very nice touch. all in all, wed definitely come back for a stay again :)

Disappointing stay; never again!

Pros: Breakfast was nice. Otherwise we were quite unhappy.

Cons: We booked two standard rooms at a peak summer rate of 398 each per night! However we were sneakily assigned one cozy double (which is a cheaper room) without being told about the downgrade. When my daughter and her husband went to the room, it was tiny and cramped. The toilet was soiled and unflushed, and there were used toiletries there. In our room too there were partly used bottles of toiletries. It appears that this property does not replace the small bottles of toiletries with new ones when a guest checks out. The property is locked up at 11 pm, and we were not informed about this beforehand. No key is provided to the front door. There is a nice seating area outdoors and we wished to sit there chatting until late, catching up, as it was a lovely evening but the receptionist made it very uncomfortable for us saying that she could not go home until we were in our bedrooms. We were also told that the lounge lights would be turned off when she left, so we couldn't sit there either. The location isn't great. The property is close to the ferry terminal, and the area is scenic, but many of the other attractions in the Isle of Skye are quite far away. I wrote to the property about the downgrade and our other experiences but they have not bothered to reply.

Cons: We were disappointed that on the night we arrived that the hotel only offered us cold dinner items. No chef was present that evening. For what we paid for the room, we felt that was poor service, so we went elsewhere for dinner.
