Pros: Whatever the site lacked in terms of friendliness of desk staff, awkward layout of room, was more than made up for by location and view. We had a delightful time in Port Townsend and would consider this place for a night's stay again.

Cons: Desk staff were at the very least, not grateful to see us, or see us go. Check-in staff was definitely better than check-out.

Cons: The pictures and description of this facility on booking.com were new and fresh. The building we were put in when we arrived was not pictured in the description on booking.com. It was very old and in disrepair on the outside. The deck wobbled under our feet, the railing was frail. The exterior paint was chipping in large sheets, rolling off the wood. The access to the beach was broken and cracked (concrete). The description on booking.com included pet-friendly rooms and complimentary breakfast. When we arrived we were told we were not allowed to bring our dog and the breakfast had been cancelled. They did let us bring our dog, which was nice but the whole exchange was super awkward and unwelcoming. I had called earlier to confirm about the dog and the person I spoke with couldn't advise me on the pet options (she seemed overwhelmed by the question). Two other staff people were polite and helpful. A disappointing experience. The two updated buildings that housed the majority of guests seemed lovely and possibly worth the expense, but where they put us was a real trick.

Pros: They’ve done some really nice updates, the rooms are no longer musty. And it’s beautifully situated on the water.

Cons: Nothing above and beyond. No breakfast at all. The shampoo and conditioner and soap were all empty, but luckily we brought our own.

Cons: Sugar ants in room, jacuzzi DIRTY with pink slime in jets, not cleaned well. Front desk person drinking alcohol with bottle showing in office. Remote batteries died and front desk person insisted that he must come to room to try and reprogram T.V.instead of replacing batteries (that worked after I bought myself...)

Pros: Good water view, clean & comfortable room. Staff were friendly & helpful. Parking was free and access was easy.

Cons: Had to drive to downtown, walk was a bit far for us. Plug access for USB charging was not easily accessible, but was available.

Cons: 12 x 12 room with absurdly engineered heating appliance not my usual. I got your worst having come through Booking.com. Never again with them.

Pros: Nice location

Cons: No breakfast although this wasn’t shown on the website. The bathroom was extremely small to the point of ridiculous. Low water pressure in shower. The main door into the room allowed bright light in at night due to large gaps around the edges.

Pros: It is a good location. Easy walk to a good restaurant and to town. The room was comfortable and the view was fine. There would be better views in other units.

Cons: The room was cold when we arrived but once we got the heat going it was fine.

Pros: The view was beautiful. The water was so close, and watching the ferry from our deck was fun.
