Cons: The room was far too hot! No thermostat. We had all the windows wide open and the fan on and had to sleep on top of the bed! A very uncomfortable 2 nights resulting in very little sleep. I complained at reception and was told there was nothing that could be done because the system was on a timer. Surely it had a thermostat? A great pity as the food and hospitality sode of the hotel was excellent but sadly the discomfort of the room means we won't be staying again nor will we recommend this hotel. Very uncomfortable!

Pros: Good parking facilities. Comfortable bed. Large room but no outlook.

Cons: Disappointing breakfast. Overall quality and selection poor. Bread very stale around the edges and inedible unless toasted. Would have liked some fresh rolls or unsliced bread. Toilet in room faulty and on final night didn’t flush at all.

Cons: The heating in the room couldn't be turned off. A fan was present to help cool down but despite turning it on overnight and leaving the windows open it was sweltering despite the weather being chilly. No AC. The location is fine if you're visiting a village. But not especially useful for anything else.

Cons: Room a bit tired round the edges. Bath had marks on it. Chairs worn and a bit frayed. Table needed sanding and revarnishing. I'd paid for an upgrade to a deluxe room which whilst larger than the normal double, the quality of decor wasn't as stylish and modern.

Pros: Lovely quiet location, good breakfast, fabulous staff.

Cons: Very creaky floor boards in bedroom, though understandable given the age. Not the best use of space in the bedroom/bathroom ; we had large double room, which was lovely, but the small room connecting bedroom to bathroom was wasted space. A large wall mirror over the shelf area, and coat hooks opposite would have been great.
