Pros: The food was good

Cons: There's a slide in the kids pool with a huge bucket that fills up with water and spills onto the slide. My 5 year old grandson got knocked down by the water and broke his nose in 2 places. He had surgery when we returned home. That water feature is dangerous for little kids and should be removed.

Very good

Pros: I liked that this resort was family-friendly. We have teenagers, so having access to the Foosball and Ping Pong was a nice touch. The room we were in was very clean and spacious. The Murphy beds for them were much more comfortable than a pull-out sofa bed. The microwave and mini fridge were great too. There was easy access to the beach, and there were places around the pool most of the time. There was nightly activity, which we enjoyed from our balcony. There were many options for food and drink (non-alcoholic and alcoholic). If our children were younger, I feel like the craft times were a great additive.

Cons: I did NOT LIKE being lied to by Francisco at the Seasalt Bar. My husband and I were grabbing a drink before dinner, and after being ignored by the bartender at the lobby bar, we went out to the Seasalt bar. We were in the side of the bar where you can pick up a burger. My husband ordered a Margarita with Tajin and I ordered a Bacardi and Diet with lime. When he brought them to the table, he dropped them off as Margaritia and a rum and coke. When I looked at the bar there was a bottle of Malibu on the counter, where they just made our drinks. When I asked about my drink I confirmed that it was Bacardi and Diet, Francisco confirmed, "Si, si Bacardi' but quickly walked off. My drink smelled like lime, so I took a drink. It was NOT Bacardi, it was Malibu. I had to rush back to our room to get either benadryl or my epi-pen. I ended up having to chew several benadryl and using my inhaler. Major disruption to the rest of the evening. The pushy Kiosk salesman were also not great. I would have purchased something, but the catcalling and buy, buy, buy tactics were not enjoyable.

Don’t do it to yourself

Pros: Absolutely nothing was good.

Cons: Don’t get fooled by the “Excellent” reviews on Booking. The hotel isn’t excellent, it is actually BAD. The property is ugly, doesn’t look new despite the fact it is fairly new (2021). The rooms are ok- VERY basic and narrow. Also, rooms get very noisy at night. The pools are cold, but the kids little water park is freezing!!! Also, in the kids pool area, there is a huge bucket that fills up with water, and then it dumps all the water from high above into the pool on the kids, how is this safe for little ones? It looks dangerous and painful, no wonder why it was empty all the time. The food is bad, just like all inclusive basic fast food with low grade ingredients and products overall. Alcohol is basic and simple, no special liquor. Pool chair are cheap, towels are cheap and thin. The pool is not on the first line of the beach, it is in the middle pf the property, so that was disappointing. In order to get to the beach you have to take stairs or elevator. We even met another couple who stayed at the hotel and complained how bad it is, they were upset like us. The service is nonexistent. No one cares, we looked for a sun-bed for 30 min, no assistance from staff. Check in receptionist super cold, short and rude. They also limit you to book your restaurant reservations until 5pm not a minute after. Not worth your money, time and effort. Horrible experience, never return.

Cons: You have to wake early to save your spot in the pool area. The staff is awful. They are rough, serve badly. The service in the restaurants are terrible. You have to beg to get your food, which is not so good. I’ve been to this hotel before and it was so much better. Hilton destroyed it! And be ready for staying in line!!

Trip met the expectation

Pros: room, beach, buffet

Cons: Asian restaurant was not good. Sushi rice was very bad. Fish was okay. Italian restaurant was the worst of all restaurants. Simple pasta and neapolitana (basic red tomato sauce) sauce where not eatable. A simple sauce out of a glass would have been much better. The other restaurants where okay. Steak and Mexican restaurants where okay. However the buffet was therefore better than the individual restaurants and we tried all of the options available. What we missed was that there should be more national dishes instead of always serving Fries and burgers and chicken wings. What was also not nice is that a reservation at a restaurant of 8 people (Family with kids) was not available in most cases before 8-9 pm which is too late if you have kids :(

Relaxing in Cancun

Pros: Overall very good, well run resort with huge pool, several restaurants serving various cuisines, all within the all-inclusive concept. Good size room with ocean view, comfortable bed. Gorgeous views from the balcony - the color of Caribbean sea is surreally beautiful. Very nice beach, although not swimmable due to big waves. Good entertainment program.

Cons: Due to the size the resort was rather crowded - those seeking seclusion and romance may struggle with that. Food at the buffet breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant was rather mediocre although variety was there. Service (this applies only to the main restaurant) was hit or miss - some waiters were excellent, others simply did not care. Same applies to room service. Overall, we got the feeling that all-inclusive concept was not really our thing.

Pros: Staff was great, but they were very understaffed for March break. Resort was clean, the views were beautiful, decent amount of food options and lots for kids to do..

Cons: Rooms were very small. Service was slow in the restaurants due to overcrowding on the resort and being understaffed (not the staffs fault). Some days the room was still not cleaned at 6pm. resort was small and overcrowded with people over March break that it was enjoyable at times. For the amount we paid for the trip, we expected a bit more.

Great place to stay with...

Pros: Most of the food was great! Drinks were excellent as well. The youngest (9) spent most of her time in the pool with the slides she loved it. Serve was excellent! They work so hard.

Cons: The system for booking the restaurants needs changed spots seem to book instantly for 6:00-7. The "towel game" at the pool was pretty bad, don't hate the player hate the game lol... Hilton could remove some of the Bali beds that hardly anyone purchases and have more seating.

Superb

Pros: I really liked the layout and staff the place is really nice. The buffet was really well run and maybe the best buffet I have been to for lunch and breakfast.

Cons: The dinner service was a little off. It was a busy time so that may explain it but the staff did there best to make good and I loved the food.

Lovely rooms

Pros: The buffet was very good as were the grill restaurant and tthe Italian. Our room was spacious and well appointed

Cons: Although the buffet was very good, the area/room was a typical 'canteen' atmosphere. Perhaps we were unlucky with the time of year, but an adults only section is sorely needed. The many children and young adults left quite a mess on the seating areas round the main lounge and cafe areas. These were not addressed quickly enough. Our room was not cleaned that well

With the price this resort...

Pros: Buffet was very good for breakfast/lunch/dinner, great service by the pool and at bars, good amount of activities for kids with great entertainment staff, rooms were very modern and clean.

Cons: Getting our room cleaned was extremely challenging, half hour lineup to get a coffee in the morning, dinner a la cartes were difficult to make reservations at with food being just ok and slow service, not many activities for adults, a lot of up charging for more premium menu items/wines/spirits that would be included at other resorts in the same price range.

Not ALL all-inclusive

Pros: Modern hotel, large rooms, lovely bathroom with bath and separate shower, buffet restaurant was good although we used the Italian, Asian and Steakhouse where food was cooked to order and service was better.

Cons: There were too many areas which were only available if you upgraded, we were expecting All Inclusive to mean just that! During the four days of our stay we weren't allowed to put up the parasols for shade as it was deemed too windy and dangerous. There were plenty of covered sunbeds and seating areas but you had to pay between 150-250 USD per day to use these, the majority of them stayed empty whilst we saw families struggling to keep their young children out of the 32 degree heat. This was the same on the beach - only certain guests could use one section and you had to pay extra to use the covered sunbeds. We chose this hotel based on the photos and amenities which was misleading when they weren't included in the rate. Rooms were located around the swimming pools where loud music was played all day - not recommended for anyone looking for a quiet break. This was the most expensive and less appealing all inclusive hotel we have stayed in.
