Cons: Vladimir and Limor are absolutely lovely and helpful. The other staff members were rude and dismissive. When we checked in the man at the front told us he couldnt help us anymore because his shift ended 15 minutes before. And he sat at the desk cursing his lack of sleep the night before.

We loved Tel Aviv and the architecture and superb restaurants.

Pros: Location wise the hotel is perfect.

Cons: We were offered a complimentary drink upon arrival but there was no offer of help with our luggage. The staff at times were surly and not in any way welcoming. We felt that the staff were basically doing their job description but no more and did not make an effort to strike up any conversation - it was very quiet in the hotel at this period so they were not rushed off their feet! Breakfast choices were not too bad but it would have been good to have a variation on the 'cake stand' offering, having stayed elsewhere in Tel Aviv we felt breakfast was poor in comparison. We also felt that there should have been more complimentary beverage facilites in the room ie choice of teas, biscuits etc. I ran a bed and breakfast in the UK for over 30 years and I don't think I would have had many return customers if this had been their experience. We also felt it was totally unecessary to be charged for the storage of our cases for a few hours until the taxi arrived to take us to the airport. Sadly we will not be returning.
