Pros: Absolutely lovely building with characterful rooms, perfectly furnished and comfortable beds, set in nice grounds. Good room facilities including decent tea, coffee, and real milk.
Cons: It was a bit cold. I would have liked a slightly better quality breakfast with less sugary items and more healthy options.

    Kate

    Fair

Overall ok stay but would not stay again.

Pros: Beautiful outside of property, the bedding and room was clean. Sink in room as bathroom down the hall.
Cons: I felt the room was expensive for what we got and the service provided as the room had a private bathroom across the hall and as there was a wedding on this meant passing other guests to nip across to the bathroom via small short steps down to hallway and then down to bathroom. The bathroom was dated and the building was noisy as a wedding was on. Breakfast was offered at a local pub The Hart 3 miles down the road and not provided on site which we had paid for prior to arriving, however the hotel did refund this after our stay. Please note there are no staff on site of a night, just an emergency number for a local grounds keeper down the road which made me feel uneasy as other guests on site but no staff.
