Pros: We stay there every year, always very warm welcome. Hotel personnel are very friendly. Delicious breakfast. Big rooms with very Comfortable beds. Great beach, big pool, sauna and facilities. Beautiful garden to enjoy the afternoon or evening with some Turkish tea. Very central but still private. Easy to reach everywhere. Looking forward for our next stay!

Pros: An amazing large pool great for lengths, I had a beautiful room with a sea view & the bay to swim in the sea was fabulous. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were great - especially Esma the room service lady and I had a fantastic massage in the wonderful hamman at the hotel. I had a great time overall. The Decor was quirky and stylish. WiFi was fast and I was able to work easily from the room.

Cons: It was all great - but they could reduce use of plastic water bottles and have a refill station & provide bicycles as there is a cycle path all along the coast to the old city / kaleici. I hired a scooter but would have loved to cycle on the lovely separate path as the views are amazing.

It was an average hotel but I will not stay there again.

Cons: On saturday morning a lady almost screaming House Keeping and knocking the doors even before 09:00am. She was not only waking up the room which she knocks but also everybody in the corridor. When I asked isnt it too loud for this hour she was even angry at me and said she is doing her job: house keeping I was speechless. And again at early hours, the housekeeping from upstairs are so loud that you wake up in your room, they dont care about sleeping people around 09:00am. The pillows were not comfortable as well.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at the Marmara Antalya. Most of all we enjoyed the facilities such as the huge pool, the area around the beach is very nice and cozy and everything that is being offered, is of high quality. It truely is worth its 5 stars. Especially the breakfast varieties and also the fish dinner at the beach restaurant during the evening were a highlight. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and professional at all times. We never had to wait long for any requests as there are many staff members around all the time and they were very attentive. We had an incident, that besides one consumption out of the minibar, another bottle of a frozen cappuccino fell out and broke. At the check out, I mentioned this and they removed it from the bill without hesitation, which was very generous. I had requested a room for a handicapped person, that we received among check in without problems and the room was just accurate for the demands of an handicapped person. Communication about this important request among arrival with the hotel staff was also given at any times. The rooms were clean and it was very uncomplicated to ask for specific additional items we required by our friendly maid. The guests of the hotel mainly are business travelers, many airliners and companies. Its not a typical tourist hotel. Even though you find a few families for vacation as well. The only thing to mention is, that when you get a room facing the city, it gets quite loud as you can hear the noise of the traffic as well as the music of a club across the street. Therefore, I recommend a room facing the beach or probably a higher floor. Overall, we had a great experience and were really happy with our stay. I would definitely come back to this hotel. Thank you for your hospitality and the high standard of the hotel. We appreciated everything.

Amazing 18 nights

Pros: This was our second time at the Marmara Hotel. We stayed 18 nights. The main reason we choose The Marmara Hotel is the Hotel is animal friendly. Eating breakfast on terraces with cats, dogs, birds hanging around is an amazing and priceless experience for humankind. To get together with all animals plus an amazing breakfast itself with big green garden gave us joy, happiness and hope each morning! We heard from the staff hotel Management takes care of these homeless animals which gave the Management an extra point. The huge and quality breakfast selection is amazing and kitchen is very successful even for other meals such as snacks, lunch and dinner. Everything was very tasteful. Very calm guests. With very rare occasion we met greedy tourists indeed. Beach is very calm and tidy. The rooms interior design is very interesting and special. We really loved the Californian feeling. The staff is amazing. We would like to especially thank to Mr Ulas and Mr Erkan who was very professional, helpful and friendly. We felt that their contribution during our stay was priceless. Thank you once again! We even would like to thank to Ms Esma who cleaned our room every day and checked with us each morning if we needed anything else. We felt that our room was very tidy and clean during our whole stay. Long story short we hade lovely 18 nights and we will definitely come back!

Cons: the prices for food could be a bit less. We fully understand that good quality costs but yet we think that food was a bit overpriced.

Rude staff and very kids unfriendly

Cons: This has been one of the worst hotel stays we've ever had. The rudeness of the staff is absolutely shocking. We ended up checking out after one night - they refused to give us any money back, but we were so desperate to get to a hotel with good service that it was worth it. Paid extra for the revolving room - ended up getting a room on the lowest level. You can't see anything from there! Can't access the ocean at all if you have kids. Staff at the beach bar completely ignored us, even after us walking up to them asking for service. Reception staff should all get training on how to treat customers. Absolutely shocking - would absolutely not recommended this hotel to any tourists looking to enjoy Turkey - this hotel and staff does not know how to treat paying customers.
