    Pros: The rooms were lovely, facilities very good
    Cons: The food. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. For such a high quality hotel the food was well below my expectations, the dinner above all was poorly cooked and very expensive. A real disappointment for two people who are not fussy eaters but like good food, even simply prepared.

    I was very disappointed.

    Pros: The room itself was beautiful and the lounges downstairs were very comfortable. My spa treatment itself was lovely but the relaxation area etc was only ok. The cocktails were fab and the staff were all lovely bar one waitress.
    Cons: the iPad in the room didn't work and when I reported it, nothing was done. When I got back to the room after the spa treatment, the lights wouldn't work for the first half an hour, then randomly started working. But the food was the biggest disappointment. I ordered a tempura prawn sandwich for lunch in the lounge. The waitress barely stood still for long enough to take my food order and I had to call her back to give her a drinks order which she then got wrong. The sandwich when it came had about 5 small prawns in it, just about enough to eat half of the roll with (and cost €18). The dinner, which I ordered as room service to be fair, was a tiny portion and flavourless. I was glad I had ordered chips with it. The reception area was a bit shabby with chipped paint on the desk etc and looked cheap which wasn't in fitting with everything else.

    Great hotel, clean, friendly staff.

    Pros: Beautiful interior, nice spacious rooms. Good bathroom. Spa facilities are very nice - pity you have to pay extra. Parking is convenient under the hotel, x4 EV Type 2 chargers on site. Nice Breakfast - gluten free options, delicious gluten free scone!
    Cons: Gym is small, no view. Our room was outdated despite recent refurbishment.
