Pros: Having David Byrne's ID card as the room key certainly set the right tone for this stay. It was a historic building and a good setting for a business history conference.

Cons: Elevators were ridiculously slow, causing substantial delays in moving between conference sessions on the 2nd floor and the 17th floor.

Cons: The air did not work and the thermostat said it was one 70 degrees but it didnt go lower than that and I couldnt feel the air. The light on the ceiling wouldnt turn on.

Pros: Staff and location.

Cons: The A/C unit could not cool anyones room below 75 degrees. They were handing out box fans. The shower alternated between cool and scalding hot. The parking was $25 every time you parked, but apparently you could get validated but no one ever told us.

Cons: The room was old. The air conditioner was so loud it was impossible to sleep. Eve thing just seemed worn out looking. It also seems that the room was not properly cleaned as there were times left over by previous guest.

Cons: The television did not work properly I was told by the technician that tried to fix it that management was aware of the TV issues. Also the grate on the heating/cooling vent was loose so every time it came on the system made loud noises that kept me awake

Pros: It was quaint and beautiful. Rooms were nice and we had a good view. The location was amazing and had so much to do within walking distance. Staff was kind and helpful.

Pros: Location. Location. Location. A small, historic hotel right smack in the heart of Charlotte. A parking garage is directly behind the hotel, a fabulous breakfast restaurant attached, and theater venues and restaurants surround the neighborhood.

Cons: This was my 7th stay at The Dunhill, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Pros: Staff was courteous and went out of their way to help out. They let me leave my car in the garage, for the afternoon at no extra charge, even after I had checked out.

Cons: Not very many ac outlets in the room for charging electronics.

Pros: We stay for the convenience to our grandchildren.

Cons: Poor desk service on check in. Bed was terrible. Pillows were bad. Restaurant service was horrible. Waitress messed up order and said she was to fix it but never came back . Worse stay at this place and I have stayed often. Something not right there.

Pros: The location was good, I liked the history of the hotel, loved the restaurant, and that it was a boutique hotel.

Cons: No hot water on the last day of our trip, the cleaning staff did not clean to satisfaction. There was trash left in the room from the previous guest and they never took out used glasses. The level of outside noise was very high especially on the weekends.
