    Pros: Location and charm of old building. Good value for what I needed.
    Cons: Run down and broken items in room. Coffee machine is a French press not an automatic - you are given loose coffee grinds. Restaurant was not good. Rooms were dark and small.

    Excellent location

    Pros: Excellent location. The immediate neighborhood is great to spend time in plus the area is well connected to the downtown and expressways. Public transit very accessible to the hotel. It is a very beautiful building and the 7th Floor terrace offers amazing views. The staff were very helpful for a variety of questions.
    Cons: We found the lighting in the room a bit dull for task oriented activities. Since the hotel is at a busy corner some, who are not used to city noises, might find it a bit noisey overnight. Parking offerings at the hotel are limited.

    It was excellent! I will...

    Pros: That it was a boutique hotel, and it was close to The Opera House where my friend and his band were performing. I requested a room with a bathtub due to back problems, and they were able to accommodate me. I also had the choice of room service or go down to The Bistro to eat.
    Cons: That they need to add soda/ iced tea prices to their room service menus.
