Cons: Where do I start. Don't visit during the off peak times. We waited 35 mins to get a drink, there were no staff and it felt like a ghost town. Why bother to stay open? Prices were high which is cheeky. Had to move room as my shower didn't work! New room didn't have a proper shower (hand held) so it was a bath or nothing. Would not bother staying there again. The hotel we stayed at beforehand in Benidorm was half the price and twice as good!

Pros: Beautiful garden and pool area, stylish room and general areas, tasty breakfast, kind and professional customer service. Peace and quiet. We stayed for one night but would have liked to stay longer.

Pros: Lovely tropical vibe around the pool area. Really good buffet breakfast. Room 213 was spacious and well appointed. The staff were very nice.

Cons: However to get hot water in the bathroom meant running the hot water for a very long time which was incredibly wasteful of water. The teacups in the room were too small!

Cons: No wifi that worked, no cellular reception , rooms electricity was gone when we arrived, room was meant to be cleaned but there was dirty towels and dirty bathtub. No answer from reception. No room or bar service. A hostel would have been better. Very expensive for what I would rate as a 2 star hotel at best.

Pros: The hotel is a top class hotel with excellent facilities. Beautiful decor sorrounding the swimming pool. Staff were exceptionally friendly which made our stay even better.

Cons: There is a lack of an all day service for food and drinks. You cannot get a tea, coffee or drinks except at lunch time and after 7pm.

Cons: We were put in room 304 and we knew from a previous visit in Feb that the hot tub didn't work and we were right. To be told that the rooms were full and couldn't change. Then another staff member did move us. In this room the toilet wasn't flushing so that had to be fixed. The room was dirty. Then they had the audacity to try to charge 30 to charge Hybrid car. Also, a charge of 29 per night for a dog and for that I would have expected bedding and bowls etc. We got nothing. Very poor indeed.

Pros: Lovely hotel. Excellent food. Friendly and obliging staff from the receptionists, to the waiters and the cleaners. A very comfortable bed in our room. Very quiet and serene hotel most of the time. Lovely private Terrace with our room, 2 sunbeds, 2 chairs and table. Metal bench but no cushion. Great swimming pool area with tables chairs and cushions. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas . Shower and toilets by the pool. Outside Terrace for buffet breakfast, and lots of different choices of food. Lovely dining room inside for evening meal.

Cons: Sometimes the staff were not available to serve drinks either at the bar or by the pool, as they were busy booking people in or doing other jobs. Our room only had one English speaking channel itv1. No paper or pen in the room. There was a bottle of water in the room, but I didn't know if it was tap water as the top was not sealed so I didn't use it. We booked half board and we were disappointed to find we had a different menu to other restaurant guests, and had to pay extra if we wanted the al a carte menu. Saying that the food we got was very good, but repetitive. There was no separate lunch menu and we got charged over 50 euros for a cheese and ham sandwich, two small glasses of wine and a slice of tiramisu, which the waiter told us was included in the price. My travel partner had mobility issues, and we had to get 2 different lifts to get to breakfast and the pool. One lift behaved like a spin cycle on a washer and the other one started making horrendous straining noises! There were also a number of steps to negotiate with no hand rail. It was ok if I was there to assist, but could have been difficult if she had been traveling alone. We booked a twin bedded room, as we were mother and daughter. On arrival in the room there was an extra large double bed. The member of staff tried to point out it was 2 beds, but there was only bedding for the one large bed. We had to cope. I wanted to use the spa facility, but it was 65 euros for 2 people and my mother didn't want to use it, so I ended up not going as you still paid 65 euros for 1 and only got water to Drink, not even a glass of sparkling wine. Our hotel room was in the middle of 2 rooms which had jacuzzis on their Terraces. The jacuzzis were very noisy when switched on, and one couple came back at 11.30pm and used it until well after midnight keeping us awake. They also used them in the morning, and the couple to the right of us, didn't leave a lot to our imagination!

Poor customer service

Cons: After being told that the spa was closed despite having a reservation for it when it was opened for us we only ended up having 20 minutes in it due to having treatments booked. Personally the facilities they offer is not worth the 65 per couple. After speaking to reception about not being able to use them for the full hour we were ensured that we would not be charged for the use of the facilities and received an apology from the member of staff on reception which was handled very well. However after leaving the property I looked on my bank statement and saw that we were charged despite being told we would not. When I have been back in touch with the hotel via booking.con they have refused to give us a refund and offered alternative compensation but we want our money back as already promised by a member of their staff. It has been 1 week now and the hotel are ignoring our messages. We will not be returning and will not recommend to family or friends even though we have been frequenting moraira for 20 years we will be staying elsewhere in future.
