Pros: Room was clean

Cons: Had a non-smoking room but the room reeked of cigarette smell, on top of the blankets having cigarette holes in it! Even though II reserved it for 2 nights, We checked out the next afternoon due to an early start for my sons tournament.

Pros: The location to the Charlotte Motor Speedway was great. We were able to walk and avoid traffic.

Cons: This was by far the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. We had a broken window, very run down furnishing and appliances, dirty, bathroom that was nasty (but at least functional), funky smell and very loud neighbors who had their TV very loud all night. In addition, there were children and other visitors hanging around the exit doors outside late at night and it did not feel safe.

Pros: This hotel was extremely filthy. Our room smelled horrible and the staff was unwilling to change it. The halls and common areas were very dirty and the entire place teamed of cigarette and marijuana smoke. Very gross place.

Pros: The location to the race track.

Cons: The beds were nothing more than a cot. The only thing I can say about the room is that it didn't have any bugs or rodents. The hallways were dirty and smell like smoke. When listing this place, you should mention that it is being used as a place for people on welfare and displace. We were very uncomfortable with the whole situation. We would not book with Red Roof again. Lesson learned.

Cons: The room wasn't very clean, floors were filthy considering there wasn't carpet in the room I was expecting the floor to be clean, tub has the beginning of rust spots, the AC was very loud and funny smell, bed was not comfortable and other customers seemed to long term were very loud in the halls ( which I understand they can't control control) I don't know the area very well abd was told afterwards it's not the most desirable l. I've used Home Towne before for personal reasons, and UT was great, so I didn't hesitate to book this one but ended up being very disappointed.

Pros: Location & price but unable to stay there

Cons: Couldn't locate reservation, after 30 minutes they told me my name was misspelled. Gave me a key for a room that I never found. Went back to desk & they programmed key for a different room that was absolutely disgusting. Trash everywhere, bed completely unmade, toys in floor, toilet unflushed. Horrible. Then told NO other rooms available & NO Offer to even clean the room. Only asked why so upset? Had to pay 2x as much @ different hotel

Cons: The exterior doors with a key fob didnt work so literally anyone could come into the hotel- there were bikes in the hall and very sketchy people coming in and out. The whole place smelled like a skunk. Windows didnt have good locks. Room was disgusting and looked like a hospital room. Went to the room and immediately left.

Cons: room had mold, beds were terrible kitchen area was disgusting. paint was peeling. smell of smoke, AC was dirty and not working well. all common areas were dirty and gross including the elevators.

Pros: It was close to the venue of a concert that we were there for.

Cons: The front desk clerk wasn't sure how to ck me in because I made the reservation through booking.com. Someone came to help her. It wasn't showing I had paid. Then she found I did but their system wouldn't let them ck me in as if I had. She asked for the card I used. She said that wasn't the 1 I used. I assured her it was. She swiped my card & told the original clerk they had to run my card again & she should be able to take it from there & she left. So now I've paid twice. The clerk made a note on my receipt for the staff to reimburse me the next morning when I ck out bc I was accidentally charged twice. Umm, it was not an accident. At this point, I have to get ready for the concert that starts in 1 1/2 hrs & I want to be early. I take my luggage to the room. There was no curtain in the window. I could dress in the bathroom but I wasn't dealing with it when I got back so I went to the front desk & asked if I could get a curtain or blanket to throw up there, but she transferred us to another room. We take our belongings to the other room which was on a completely different floor. The next morning the clerk didn't know how to do reimburse me so she got someone to help. Again, a lot of confusion. They were talking about how the clerk was switching people to different rooms & not putting it into the system right & she would be written up. They weren't talking directly to me but among themselves including somebody I couldn't see in the room beside them. It seemed to me the original clerk may have been training. I never received an apology, more of it was kind of my fault for not booking through them. I could add more details about the whole thing, but hey, the concert was great & I got my money in a few days. I don't need fancy, but this was definitely not the most pleasant experience.
