Pros: Good size room. Attractive decoration. Clean and comfortable. Very good spa facilities Restaurant food good. Easy free parking. Quiet location on a golf course. Easy access to Norwich, including nearby park and ride bus service.

Cons: Tired carpet in bedroom needs replacing. Early morning alarm call didn't happen. Staff were apologetic. Most of the jets in the jacuzzi didn't work - a regular visitor said they never do!

Pretty on the outside but...

Pros: The grounds are nice but thr cleaners were noisy each morning.

Cons: This felt like a hotel desperate to squeeze every penny they can - high cost, poor service, poor staff attitude, everything you ask the staff seem to be too much hustle. A Travelodge service for Marriott prices. A one star delivery for four star prices. I was gobsmacked when my wife was told at breakfast when she asked if she could order poached egg that 'you'll be lucky, depends if the chef is in a good mood today'. Equally surprised that there was no apple juice, my child's preferred drink and they still charged me £6.25 per child for a 5yr old even though I had seen children eat free. What hotel charges 5yr olds for breakfast these days unless they're desperate o squeeze every penny, especially with the limited options at breakfast? What hotel doesn't have apple juice and isn't embarrassed to say. No effort at all from all the staff. They are quick to say no even before you've asked your question. You are not allowed to check in before 4pm but they ring you bang on 10am to say you need to leave, literally 10am checkout time chasing. When I thought I'd give them some conatructive feedback before leaving, the lady at the reception was so defensive I didn't even bother saying more. She thinks she can see why I thinks it's been poor but ...' was her gambit. I shook my head and walked out. Each time you walk to reception (because they don't answer their calls all day and night, and don't bother calling the restaurant either) they give you the facial and body language you're bothering them. Everything you ask for is too much to ask, including a menu. I have previously stayed here before and it wasn't this desperate and I gave a top review but clearly the change in ownership has meant I have completely fallen out of love with the place, as have my kids who previously loved it. Its now just pretty on the outside but ugly behaviours on the inside.

Cons: Fridge in the room was rotten needed a good clean and wasn’t cold, tv channels kept losing signal, bed sheets had burn stains on them and the room was ridiculously hot as it was very close to the pool

Pros: Unlimited use of the pool was excellent to keep children entertained and adults active. The rooms are comfortable, neat and warm. There is a lot space in the hotel and a relaxing bar . The breakfast was nice but would have been included, the restaurant was pleasant. Perhaps a little over priced for the food. Parking was convenient and staff were polite and helpful. I notice that thr leisure staff and cleaners worked extremely hard.

Cons: The hotel is a little dated now. The spa receptionist was extremely rude and sacrastic, it was a shame when all the other staff were impeccable.
