We really liked staying at...

Pros: The location is super good, all the good restaurants/ sightseeings/ beautiful places/ food stores located nearby. The hotel interior looks amazing, it’s clean and all is well maintained. Stuff is super welcoming and always ready to help with whatever you need. Hotel rooms have all the necessary amenities, beds were exceptionally comfortable, rooms were really spacious, well-appointed. The hotel restaurant offered delicious meals with a diverse menu. Prompt room service and food that surpassed our expectations. Check-in was smooth, also the fact that we arrived early in the morning, but hotel usually checkins after 3pm, the stuff was so kind to offer us a room after a couple of hours only, so we didn’t have to wait half a day, which was really appreciated. Check-out was quick and hassle-free.

Pros: Great location - right in the city centre, easy to commute. You can collect your Marriott bonus points, especially if on a business trip from US. =)

Cons: Price-quality is very low: - room is very dark and you can hear neighbours from time to time (the noise level wasn't extreme though) - breakfast is overpriced for the choice compared to what you expect from a good 5 star. Beware of junior vs senior staff making cappuccino - huge difference. If you encounter a junior-made cappuccino - ask for another one, they can make it properly. - 14 euro croissants - fine, but my feeling was that the hotel is reselling some below average croissants made somewhere around the corner. To justify the price tag they have to be hot and very tasty. - cleanliness: found insect (silverfish) in the bathroom under the towel. Obviously bathroom is a perfect place for them: dark, warm, wet, with old pipes and not very clean. After reporting that to the hotel personal, received no further comments and have not seen any actions.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many of Berlin’s atttactions. The leisure facilities were very good too with a well equipped gym and steam room and sauna. The staff were were both friendly and professional.

Pros: Good location with excellent views from our balcony room. Staff couldn’t have been any nicer which added to our experience, I told the hotel it was my partners 40th and the left a signed card in the room for him, just gave it that little extra personal touch! Thank you

Pros: Literally every little thing. It is so elegant, yet whimsical and not pretentious, the entire hotel is beautiful and comfortable and well maintained. the staff are literally the loveliest people. Tim was especially helpful and kind and when I returned from an important meeting, he greeted me with champagne and took photos for me commemorating the day. He also provided amazing recommendations for dinner and helped me get a last minute hair stylist. the location couldn’t be any better and central. However the room was quiet. All the furniture was comfortable and I slept so well. Even small details were perfect. the on site restaurant is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. I am very discerning and usually always find things not to my liking. This hotel was absolutely perfect. I stayed for 5 nights in the middle of January and wish I could have stayed longer. I will not stay anywhere else when I visit Berlin. An elegant home away from home where everyone treats you with kindness, warmth and professionalism. The whole organization should be commended.
