Pros: location was good, there was a woolworths and other shops in a mall about 5 minutes walk away and the gondola up the mountain.

Pros: Nice and comfortable, friendly hosts, they have cats too, was quiet, free wifi (albeit slow wifi). I'd have no issues staying there again by myself.

Cons: The ceiling in the bathroom had mould on it, cheap adhesive tiles stuck around the bathroom to try and dress it up a bit. The bed wobbled and creaked with every movement. It was fine for my teen and I, but I don't think I would bring my wife and other kids.

Pros: Central location with spacious room. Good shower. Quiet street. Good for bikes.

Cons: It was exactly as advertised so no surprise downside. Provided instant coffee could have been nicer.

Great place to stay

Pros: Price - about £75 a night for a whole apartment. The owner took the trouble to show me around and explain how everything worked, which was kind. Milk and bottled water were supplied. The place was very clean and cosy. It was also comfortable, especially the bed. The sitting room had two sofas. Fresh towels and additional coffee, etc were provided on the second day. The location was good: just 15 minutes from the tourist information office, where the intercity buses stop; and a couple of minutes from a Countdown supermarket; central Rotorua is quite small, so I was not far from anything in town.

Cons: Nothing amiss. It is not the .most modern of apartments but the price reflects this.

Cons: Booking .com has been hacked with the live chat and messages all under control of the hackers. Do not use booking.com as there is no assistance available once your account is hacked and you will lose your money.
