    Pros: Older staff member(s) bowed which was not something I had encountered in Japan during my stay.
    Cons: Handing in the key each time you leave is a bit of an annoyance. These rooms are older so keep that in mind tourists.

    We loved the place, no big issues and we would come back.

    Pros: We really liked the staff and how courteous that were to us. The place was clean, and large.
    Cons: The staff had a very strict visitor guidelines which we did not know about and having our kids come visit us was tricky. Our kids stay elsewhere and we had hoped they could come for dinner with us at Shinjuku. Sometimes my kids were allowed to visit and other times it was not allowed. We learned later why as they don't want non-guest wandering around, and we LIKED that, but we just did not know before-hand that our kids may not be able to join or visit us.

    Staff members are patient and nice, locations are bomb af. Great for travelers with budget.

    Pros: For those who are not really into checking in different hotels because of the trip schedule, this is the perfect base to settle. Besides the fact that Shinjuku is one of the major transfer stations for many metro lines, this hotel is right next to Kabukich, so definitely an ideal choice if u got plans for some night outs since you can literally walk your way home.

    Cheap and nasty

    Pros: The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.
    Cons: Very uncomfortable bed & pillow.. staff gave me better pillow one I asked though.
