Pros: The owners were lovely. The beds were really comfy.

Cons: Our room reeked of air freshener or something like that. I am allergic to perfumes and we couldn't find where the smell was coming from, it was overpowering. If I had found the source I might have been able to put it outside, I had to take an antihistamine to be able to stay in the room.

Superb - beyond expectations

Pros: Ricki went beyond expectations to give us the best experience. Fantastic customer service. He researched rental car courtesy shuttle options after I mentioned the issues with our rental car. Great location, spotlessly clean room, fully equipped kitchen. We will be back.

Suited us as a family group of eight - 5 adults and 3 children. Would choose to stay here again.

Pros: Made to feel welcome. We had a very late arrival time on a flight from Australia. Rick ensured that we were able to access our room once we were dropped off by taxi from the Airport. The rest of the family arrived a day later and were able to access their room early which was much appreciated. Location is great. Easy walking to Botanical Gardens (which are just wonderful) and other attractions in the City. We are staying here again on the way back from Greymouth. Rick is kindly collecting us from the Railway Station.

Great place, and owner is very friendly.

Pros: Owner is very friendly and he gave us heaps of useful information on what to do in the area. Nice location as we left the car in the motel and we did everything by foot as the city centre is a 15/20 minutes walk. Appartement is clean, quiet, spacious. My son was happy to have all this space for him! He was sad to say goodbye to such a comfy bed

Absolutely lovely staff and nice place in a great location. Highly recommend.

Pros: The amenities were nice and cozy but the real star was the unbelievably friendly staff. The second we walked in the door Rick greeted us and his wife said hello as well. They are so lovely, and really made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Rick even dropped us into town on our last day. Would absolutely recommend
