Pleasant stay in the rooms generally but some small quirks outside that were unpleasant

Pros: Great location and generously proportioned rooms. Staff were pleasant, grounds were looked after, and very comfortable beds.

Cons: Someone left dirty dishes in the hallway which werent picked up in the three days we stayed. There was some noisy equipment in the ceiling that periodically crashed and banged all evening which was a little disappointing. Sadly the hotel spa and massage facilities had been closed down with no sign of being reopened which is a lost opportunity and hangs over the hotel a little.

So much possibility but disappointing, inconvenient & strange, would not return.

Pros: Gardens & views from balcony were beautiful as pictured. Rooms were extra large with plenty of seating, huge bathroom & tv.

Cons: After advertising the restaurant was open 7 days, it was closed both nights we stayed so no dining or room service available. The drive to town is just over 10mins however the road to the lodge is dirt/gravel so not enjoyable, especially at night. Breakfast was stuck in the 90s - basic & did not cater to dietary requirements & the only coffee on offer was filter coffee. This meant we had to leave the lodge for any food & made the isolation inconvenient rather than a plus. If the rooms were self contained this wouldnt have been as big an issue. Skeleton staff on site with nobody at reception most of the stay, so this just added to the neglected atmosphere of the resort & their guests. Whilst the grounds are well maintained the rest of the lodge & the rooms seem lacking in maintenance & deeper cleaning when you look closer.

Pros: Lovely big bedrooms with option of deluxe spa bath and spa on deck. Great views.

Cons: 3km unsealed road to approach property. Inflexible - unable to have breakfast in our room. Attention to detail missing eg big cobwebs, missing headrest in spa pool on deck,

Very enjoyable, comfortable and super relaxing.

Pros: It felt luxurious with its large rooms with balconies, that looked out towards the beautiful mountains. The bed was very comfortable and the inclusive breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: The spa looked rather sad and the sauna and steam room were either out of order or not in use. We werent sure if they were open to the hotel guests or not.

Pros: The rooms were fantastic, clean and comfortable.

Cons: The breakfast was a bit pricey for what you got. Dinner was nice although they were short staffed, 2 of the 5 starters were off the menue and it took 45 mins for the stater and 45 mins for the mains to arrive, we skipped desert.

Cons: Bathroom wasnt very clean. Waited for more than 30 mins after ringing the bell at reception to check in. Check in time of 4pm is ridiculous. Not worth the price tag.
