    Comfortable and quiet, would definitely return for a pleasure trip.

    Pros: The hotel is great, small and quiet. Staff is friendly and always around. The breakfast is very good! And more importantly, the location is amazing, best area to stay in Old Cartagena, just off the most beautiful plaza.
    Cons: A bit too small for my taste, the pool was tiny and the room as well. Circulations around the hotel are tight and the conditioned areas are only the rooms and cafe... the hotel is mostly outdoor, which can become very hot around the summer. Rooms should have a desk, or at least a small table to work in.

    Overall, Great place to stay! Would recommend.

    Pros: The staff were Really friendly, and Helpful! Great Location, and Beautiful rooms/amenities. Mostly quiet and peaceful. Air conditioning working great! Breakfast was really good.
    Cons: Bathroom was hard for two people to use (door was very close to sink) Full body mirror on bathroom door was not convenient to use, would make more sense with it on a wall in the room, or on entrance door. Sink was leaking on 2nd day which had puddle of water on floor. Bed / Room was smaller than anticipated. Dinner Menu was really really basic, and average.

    An ok hotel but not worth the price

    Pros: The majority of the staff was nice. The location was really nice in front of a beautiful park!
    Cons: First of all we had the room downstairs (felt like a cave.. not in the cozy way) which was right next to the kitchen. It resulted in a lot of noice during the morning waking us up several times both days. On the first day I stepped on glass in the bedroom. The breakfast was meh. There was strands of hair all over the bathroom when we arrived.. The safe stopped working as we were trying to use it and the list goes on We expected a higher standard, but it was not worth the money

    Pros: quiets clean rooms in a great location
    Cons: be careful, when you check in they have you fill out paperwork, which I assumed was just a check in form, but apparently it was for additional medical insurance. So I was hit with an unexpected charge. I have travel insurance so this additional insurance was a waste of money especially since I did not know I had it until I was hit with additional charges at check out. it is deceptive on the part of the hotel not to fully explain this. I questioned the charge at check out was they would not waive it. So be careful when you check in.

    Nice hotel, but wouldn't recommend it

    Pros: The place is well located near all the restaurants and the bars inside the Centro Historico. You can get everywhere by foot really easily. However, due to the location, it is extremely noisy. The rooms were clean and the hotel itself is nice. The breakfast is okay.
    Cons: Two of the standard rooms are located next to the reception and really close to the entry of the hotel (so next to the streets). We had the room right next to the reception and it is impossible to sleep. The staff is very noisy and talks without considering the guest that might be sleeping (even at 22-23pm). The walls and the windows of the rooms are not sound proofed at all. You can almost hear the staff breathing through the wall. Also, the streets of Cartegena are really noisy during the evening/night. You can hear everything and it's sooooo loud. The staff is not really of any help, we asked them to check out really early to catch our flight and when we woke up, we had to search everywhere for the receptionist. The hotel itself is not that bad, but I would suggest staying elsewhere due to the high price and the poor quality service you'll be getting. Otherwise, make sure to book an higher quality room so you don't get the standard room next to the reception. You'll get no privacy if you're there and it's really annoying. Would not stay there again knowing all of this. Also, no water pressure to take a shower.

    Nice colonial hotel in a prime spot in the City Center of Cartagena

    Pros: Nice rooms, although a little bit small. The location pretty much in the center of Cartagena walled city, makes it perfect for moving around by foot. Close to nice and fancy restaurants, and with lots of convenience stores and money changers around
    Cons: The breakfast was pretty bad... Even though it'd been included in the room prize, it's better to avoid all-together
