    Pros: Friendly staff,great bar food at a reasonable price especially the seafood platter. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings & clean. A Quality older style hotel at a good price.

    Exceptional

    Pros: The grand interiors and the size of the bathroom and bedroom. The option to store baggage before check in and the staff, all of whom were very friendly, helpful and understanding of my disability.
    Cons: No complaints, I would stay there again for sure. OK so my room was overlooking a very loud party but that's not a problem, it finished at midnight, it was a Saturday night to be fair and I could always ask for a room on a quiet side of the building.

    Cons: Cold tap doesn't work. We were given a 'suite ' , kettle down a spiral staircase, water / sink upstairs so not great . Needs a good clean View was rubbish .

    Overall very satisfactory.

    Pros: Breakfast was very good and staff were all polite in restaurant and at reception.
    Cons: The lift could be modernised.We noticed that several wndow sills in the communal rooms facinbg the sea front were rotten

    A brilliant location and a...

    Pros: Huge family room with sea views and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The decor is slightly tired but clean and all of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had options for the whole family. The maintenance guy helped us work the tele and the reception and dinner staff were very friendly.

    Very Good

    Easter break

    Pros: A Grand hotel of a bygone age. Very majestic , although looking a little tired and some redecorating needed in places A lovely clean suite with great sea views. Quiet and relaxing with everything we needed for a few days break at an affordable price. The food was very good , staff very friendly and attentive.
    Cons: Curtains in our lounge area needed attention and one was hanging down. Owing to the height of the window it wasn't something we could fix and although we mentioned it on our first night it wasn't taken care of. This meant we couldn't draw the curtains in that room, but on the whole it was a great stay.

    Weird tatty.

    Pros: Good location and large room with clean bedding and towels, lots of hot water and wardrobe space. Friendly staff. Accommodating of dog.
    Cons: It needed to have the 100 Yr old toilet brush changed that was metal and rusted; a simple and easy update! The lift floor frames and door/button handles cleaned and polished. It's old, but there's never an excuse for unclean. Windows filthy. Tlc would go along way, even if vintage. Its got new curtains and paint so why leave other things looking tatty. Replace the beds, replace items that can easily add a sense of care and hygiene. Your charging enough to do this!!
