A small but beautiful, quiet and warm hotel in Uchisar

Pros: Oh my, where to start.... We had the best breakfast here in our entire 2-week trip. We seriously looked forward to breakfast everyday! The hotel is located in Uchisar, the quieter little town of Cappadocia, which we really liked because we got tired of Goreme. We drove here and got a little confused on how to reach the hotel; we got as far as Uchisar castle before we soon realized that the hotel is located very close to the castle. There is a public parking space just in front of the hotel, shared with some other hotels around the area. Our room has two windows overlooking the valley and Goreme city, which is very pretty at night and extra pretty during sunrise what with the hot air balloons and the mountain view! The room is sufficiently warm, and the bathroom floor is heated, which we really appreciate (we stayed in other hotels with no such facility that made us realize that it is important to feel warm during winter haha). Rox has a terrace with amazing views especially during sunrise; we love to sip hot turkish tea while enjoying the view every morning. I think among all, the best features of this hotel are the staffs and the breakfast. The owner is super friendly and gave us a few recommendations for our next destination, Gaziantep and Sanliurfa. We will definitely stay here again if we have chance to go back :)

Cons: Not much. The hotel is much smaller than the other 2 hotels we have stayed in Goreme, but this doesn't bother us.

Cool hotel with a fantastic location!

Pros: A cool cave-like hotel overlooking the valley and with a perfect view of the sunset and the hot air balloons. The room was beautifully decorated and the staff very friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was sublime!

Cons: The staff spoke very limited English, which made it very hard to communicate with them in all matters. This led to a misunderstanding of a hot air balloon booking, and we ended up buying the tour online - at a higher rate - as we wanted a guaranteed spot. Also, the room smelled of sewer and was quite dense at most times. We loved the location though, and the layout of the hotel, so we would most likely come back.

Delectable breakfast and a majestic vista.

Pros: The breakfast is a an experience on it's own. It was exceptionally heavenly and made the start of the day just magical. The view of the balloons in the morning is just a majestic vista and I could not recommend it more.

Pros: The location was perfect. Great views from the terrace. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful to my friends and I. We were staying in a cave suite, which I have never stayed in before and it was such an amazing experience.

Pros: Beautiful property overlooking the entire expanse of Capadocia. The cave rooms are authentic and done up very well. The staff was excellent - they helped us out with anything we needed, including jackets for the early morning balloon tour! Location also a plus point - bang opposite the Uchisar castle. Had such a good time, thanks Rox!

Pros: location was really good. ideal place for good restaurants and away from the hustle of goreme

The staff: Borat & Kamal in particular were amazing. Anything they could do they did.

Pros: Room was lovely. Setting was central. Staff were phenomenal. Breakfast so generous that 5 of us ate off one serving.
