Would come back in a...

Pros: Excellent facilities. Excellent location, right near the river and all the great dining spots. Especially appreciate how clean everything was. Beds were super comfortable and room was quite. All technology was working well. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast has a lot of variety and again you feel great eating there because of how clean and looked after everything is. Felt renovated. We were apprehensive with no expectations after moving from another local popular hotel, the Waterfront, which disappointed us and left us surprised at their high ratings. But Riverside was worth the move, we were really pleased. Complete contrast.

Cons: Our bathroom was flooded after every shower. Notified front office twice. Nothing was done. On the third day we managed to speak to the front office manager. He gave us a new room. Very disappointed considering the amount that we had paid.

Pros: Room was spacious, bed was comfy, hotel is strategically located in centre of the city, easy to go anywhere. Staff were friendly. Overall, the Riverside Majestic Hotel, Puteri Wing was amazing and superb. Worth every penny spent. You wont regret. Easy access to Kuching Waterfront, just cross the road.

Cons: Only breakfast was not variety. So on the last day, we decided to take breakfast somewhere else.

Pros: The hotel is safe, functional, the breakfast is good, the service is good, but that's about it. The rooms, however...

Cons: The rooms are outdated, furniture is damaged and with scratches, stains on walls, sheets, the air smells in rooms of moss and dampness, and moisture damage appears to be on the tapestry and it's stained. The fabric on the sofa was damaged a lot and the sofa should be replaced. Looking at the switches and the central control unit it suggests that the hotel is the state of very early 90s when it was last renovated. The carpet is very worn out. In fact, the management should renovate the Puteri Wing ASAP. It shouldn't be advised under 5 star hotel. Currently, even 3 stars would be generous. The pictures of the modern rooms on the Rate Puteri Wing Booking.com page to not reflect reality. In reality these are from Astana wing that is sold under different hotel on this site. THIS IS MISLEADING.

Cons: This is the old hotel and your led to believe you have the new hotel. However, staff moved us once we complained and the Astana wing was amazing. Puteri wing was ant infested, unclean, had a smell of dampness, mould everywhere. Its a 1 star compared to the adjacent 5 star
